Load up co-op mission 5 for this one.

When you first start off, immediately head a little bit to the right, where you are greeted with the flood's spawn point. All you need to do is throw a fire grenade at the entrance, and watch all your enemies burn and your kills rack up. Once the fire is distinguished, restart the mission and repeat.

NOTE: Restarting the mission keeps your kill count.

Do you need to complete the mission for all kills to ultimately count? As in I'll keep restarting, but when I'm done for the day, can I just quit out or do I need to finish the mission off?

Nope, you can just restart the mission or quit, your kills will stay.

Thanks bkill for the solution. My friend and I were doing this and found another box of 3 incendiary further to the right of the spawn location in the video. That way the second player isn't just sitting around doing nothing!

I dont think you need to boost this one if you are going for the rest since you need to work on getting gold and if you are boosting, you would need to play each of these twice. Or at least wait until every other coop achievmeent is done since I got it playing normally.

I got this on the same level but me and my co-op buddy sat in the bottom left hand corner, and just shot enemies, the enemies drop enough ammo to a point where you never run out and they drop more grenades aswell, we were getting 1000+ kills per level just killing and waiting for the timer to run out.

Great solution. I actually didn't understand why someone would bother with this and wouldn't just play the level fully over & over until they get it, but when I started doing this, it went by way faster. Thumbs up!

Great solution. I've uploaded a video as a supplement to add to your solution if you desire, as it is your method (to upload my own solution in an attempt to steal your spot would be unethical). I did change it a little bit, I collected the three additional firebombs to help decrease the time and monotony, but it's the same method at its core. Thanks!

Great solution! Grinding this out is definitely needed. After doing everything else and even grinding this out some since, I'm at 80%. I was probably closer to a little over halfway too before taking note.

This achievement will probably take anywhere from eight to ten dedicated hours to complete. There are so many enemies in the Co-Op missions, that on average, in a two hour playthrough, you should net around 1800-2000 kills.

The best missions to work on for this achievement are Missions 2 and 5. Mission 2 is very short, and since enemies are being spawned on both sides of the central area, you can split up the kills with your partner. On the other hand, Mission 5 has the most enemies which nearly never stop respawning unless you blow up all five fusion cores.

Whichever way you go about grinding this out, you can always check your progress in the Achievements tab in the Home Menu of your Xbox One.
