How to unlock the The Company of Strangers achievement in Halo: Spartan Assault - Definitive Guide

This achievement is easily boostable with just one other person. The Xbox One will allow you to sign in multiple guests on one controller, go to the Home screen, now go to the top where it shows your tag, and add guest 4 times. Now just cycle the dominant "signed in" tag by selecting "choose this person", now relaunch Spartan Assault and search for the same mission as your friend (I reccomend mission 2 because it's short, and has tons of kills if your partner still needs the 10k). You have to complete the mission for it to count. Now just cycle the next guest, and repeat until your partner pops their achievement.

Edit: To add guests on NXOE double tap the cn_guide button to bring up the guide, now go to the top option and press cn_A, scroll down to "Add & Manage. Go left 2 times to add guest (note: you can only add 1 at a time on NXOE, so just repeat the past steps 4 times). Now while in "Add & Manage" select "who you are" by pressing cn_A on the guest you'd like to play as. In NXOE it will look like it's still your main tag signed in, but it really isn't.

This will NOT work with a guest anymore. Game keeps crashing when you search for a game as a guest

I'm not sure if this method no longer works or if its only if your console is connected to the internet via Ethernet. Tried doing coop with guest accounts and it caused the game to lock up. Both of us were connected wireless. need 3 more ppl to get this achievement at the moment. setting up a session.

Myself and another both tried using guests and it caused both of our games to crash and head back to the dash. Can anyone get this to work still?

I was connected via Ethernet FYI so that's not the problem.

This achievement is very straightforward and self-explanatory. When you boot up the Co-Op Mode from the Main Menu of the game, simple press to start searching for a teammate. Take note of the gamertag when the player joins, so you do not accidently end up completing another mission with him when you go to search the next few times.

You will need to complete any mission all the way through in order for it to count towards the achievement. The second mission is, without a doubt, the quickest and easiest of the five to complete, so set the preferred mission to this before searching for a partner.
