How to unlock the He's Got the Jack achievement in Halo Wars: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide

Right at the start of the mission you can use two of your three Spartans to hijack the two banshees following you. Once you build your first firebase, wraiths will be sent to you occasionally and you can hijack those as well. You can either keep all the vehicles you hijack and wait for the extra 6 spartans, or get the hijacked vehicles killed so you can continue hijacking with the initial three spartans. You do not have to keep any of the vehicles you hijack alive, you just need to hijack a total of six times.

For whatever reason, this didn't pop when it should have (I personally hijacked 8+ vehicles). It popped for a friend when it should have despite him not hijacking any vehicles himself. Will keep trying until it works I suppose.

Same for me, did this mission 6 time evey time with 6/8 veichles hijacked...nothing popup. angry

When controlling a Spartan, you can use to hijack any Covenant vehicle. You can start doing this shortly after the mission begins as a few Banshees will start chasing you. Although you only have three Spartans at the beginning, you will likely have their hijacked vehicles destroyed throughout the mission freeing you up to hijack more. That, or you can wait until the 20-minute mark when you will receive an additional six Spartans.
