How to unlock the Freak on a Streak achievement in Halo Wars - Definitive Guide
An easy way to get this achievement is to play a 1v1 match on a 3v3 map against a normal computer while playing as a covenant leader. Slowly capture as many bases as you can, and do not upgrade your population. As you do not need to build units, I would suggest upgrading all of your bases into Citadels, filling your bases with Blessed Warehouses, and only have one Summit on your main base (or whatever base if farthest from combat). As your units start to die, build Engineers to fill the spots in your population.
When your income is high enough (~4000 resources per reinforcement), and you have enough Engineers (~25), and when you have bought the 3rd tech level, you should then buy the Followers upgrade and send all of your Engineers into the enemy base. The enemy will kill all the Engineers and you will get the upgrade in one round, giving you about 35 open spots in your population. You will then get a Scarab in the next wave of reinforcements , unlocking both the Freak on a Streak achievement and the Living Loving Bug achievement.

i tried doing it this way, but when i sent my engineers to the enemy base, they started to heal each other so it took forever for them to die...so i decided to have the prophet kill them all, and for some reason even when i had about 25 open slots with 4000+ resources, i only got about a increase of 12 in my population...so disappointing...any more tips?

That probably happened because the Prophet's beam sucks up your much needed resources. You could try holding the engineers back and just sending in your combat units. They should get decimated, considering the enemy A.I. will have a full force of troops, and you'll have a lot less.

It's not a very difficult achievement. The most important thing is to make sure you have enough money to get 15 population worth of guys. Then, like Radth said, send a force that takes up at least 15 population out and get them killed. If you have enough money then those spots will all be filled. This method means you can be any leader.

I'd suggest to take a covenant leader and play against the unsc because their troops are a bit stronger.
And turning skulls on so your troops get killed fastercould be also helpful

You will most likely get this the same time as ''Living Loving Bug'' as a Scarab takes up 20 population. If not, then just have a lot of supplies and population free and hope for the best. If you need to get rid of units, use the ''Prophet Cleansing Beam'' method described in the help for ''Living Loving Bug.
