How to unlock the Blood Pact achievement in Hand of Fate 2 - Definitive Guide

Ok I'm writing this as I go so bear with me.
The Blood Creasent is your reward for the Quest Mace chain. One of the best weapons in HoF1 BTW. Here are the steps. (Forgive me for any error I'm on VIII and writing from memory)

Start) go to Deadly Forest red card, just camp outside. You'll meet the woodcutter and get the token.

Next have the Cheerful Woodcutter in your deck. Talk to him and ask how he survives, and if he'll give you his ring. The first time I saw him he accidently whapped me with a piece of wood but not the next time. This is also a great place to score dice wins.

Now the hardest part I've found so far. Load the Forest gaurdians Ring and Deadly Forest. The goal is to have the ring equipped before you hit the forest, this takes some fame so you should be prepared, but you can alway reenter the forest if you have leftover map cards.

Anyways talk to the gaurdian bla bla, I didnt reach for the sword but told him I thought i was worthy. And yay Got Questing Mace I

Questing Maces are found in your supplies.

I) Kill 15 enemies in the same Challenge. Ijust loaded High Priestess with combat cards
Ii) Kill 20 Corrupted. Chariot. Easy throw in Paupers Plague for a little extra.
III) Kill 20 Northerners. Empress or High Priestess. Lost Boy for some extra.
IV) Kill 20 Empire. The Hermit. Lost Boy and Paupers Plague both help here too.
V) Kill 20 Thieves. The Emperor. Just rush to the Thieves kill all but the last one and let the
timer expire. Rinse and repeat
VI) Kill 20 skeletons. The Lovers. That's it.
Vll) Kill 1 Wraith. The Lovers again, it's the boss.
VIII) Kill 3 Mages This is where I am. I know The Emperor boss is a mage but don't wanna go
through 3 times so gonna look for a better spot.

Update
VIII) Kill 3 Mages. The Wheel. There is a 3 of arcane card that'll do quite nicely on the wheel of
rage gambit. You may want to bring your mage to sacrifice on a spin so he dosn't steal
your kills.
IX) Kill a Necromancer. Star 3 (credit LibelluleGino)
X) Kill an Ogre. Strength, the boss is an Ogre though you can get one faster in the tower, fail Band of Thugs. Same during Star.

After defeating the Oger you will unlock The Blood Creaseant ember card (requires 13 fame).
Cheevo pops as soon as you equip the sword.

Thx been looking for that. Thought it was the tower and was getting irritated 'cause I couldn't find it.

For the final one (X) just put Thomas the Ogre in your deck and fight him.

Easy. Just focus on Life and Food cards in your deck. Gold is useless for this achievement.
The general strategy is to give 500 health points to your companion within the blood moon. So you will need a lot of life and food to recover.

- The Armor of Gluttony is very usefull.
- Chef's charm is also usefull.
- All the cards to max your life can be convenient

Note : Even if you will lose health points WITHOUT feeding your companion after goblins battles, it could be a good strategy to fight some of them, because you may unlock some good encounters. Just adapt your game. It depends on how many points you need.

Don't forget to eat at camp fire to recover

I did this easily (during Half Moon!) with the following card combo: Fabled Beast encounter + Bountiful Gains blessing + Chef's Charm ring. Here is the setup: put Temple Prayers in your deck, and choose Bountiful Gains as your blessing, which doubles all gain cards received until the end of that particular level. Then I hit Fabled Beast, got Huge Success, and fortunately completed the dice gambit (target: 15) on my first attempt. I was rewarded with 50+ food for doing this. I had pulled Chef's Charm beforehand, which meant I could continue feeding Veles up to the 500 health requirement simply by cooking and indulging his hunger through the campfire menu!

I also want to mention the Lionheart artefact. It heals you 50 health and can be used 3 times. This should be the only platinum equipment you pick.

Not an obvious trophy at all. "Blood Crescent" is one of the best weapons in the game, as its charged blow knocks out 150 HP to any enemy except the corrupted ones. To receive a trophy you just need to pick it up. The big problem is how to open it. When you find the Seeking Mace item, it will require dozens of kills of different enemies or 1-3 demi-bosses. And although this weapon is from the basic equipment, it will take a very long time to farm because to get the “Bloody Crescent” you need to collect 10 tokens, there will be tasks for almost all key types of enemies. The final one will be the ogre. Some are very difficult to find, for example the necromancer, who are in a couple of missions and are called “Death Mages”. Therefore, as soon as you receive the mace, always carry it with you without missing the slightest opportunity to complete the task. After stage 10, "Bloody Crescent" will be added to the menu of regular weapons.

A total of 10 tasks for leveling up the “Seeking Mace”
The first six missions are to kill 15-30 different enemies, nothing complicated
The seventh task will be to kill the Ghost - this is the "Shadow of the Skull" card that drops out on the mission "Wheel"
The eighth task is to kill 3 magicians. You can win there on the mission "Wheel" - the map is called "Mystery"
The ninth task is to kill the Necromancer. I met him on the third lap of the Zvezda mission.
The tenth task is to kill the Ogre - can also be found in the mission "Star" or taken from the Ogre Thomas map
