The Hero Companion card is the Platinum version of Ariadne, the blacksmith's daughter card and is unlocked when you complete all of her Encounters.
Here is a quick overview of her encounters.
To complete Companion Encounters you must take their Encounter Cards which are marked in the top right corner with their corresponding ribbon and then land on them during a challenge in order to attempt them. Each Companion has a quest chain relating to their specific character development that you assist with and individual encounter cards can vary from skill games, resource requirements or simple conversations to be successful. Overall not super difficult it just takes time and a little luck to complete her quest chain.

During the third or fourth Encounter of this quest (collect the Terror-Vein ore), it seems you have to collect 300 gold ? Quite hard for me ! Do you know if there is another mean to get the token ?

If memory serves you need to bypass buying it then talk to the miner. Find a doll for her in the mines and that opens a new option to blackmail the guy with his spoon collection. Hope this helps!
