How to unlock the Unburdened achievement in Hand of Fate 2 - Definitive Guide

With the right cards this can be fairly easy. In this challenge you acquire curses as you progress from collecting the cursed objects required to close the portals. The third cursed object gives you a curse that will generate further curses.

Within your encounters deck you will want The Demon Arae, The Healer, Cunning Man, and Forgotten Dreams. You can also bring The Little Devil, although this card will actually end up giving you a curse if you have no curses to give.

The Demon Arae will remove up to 3 curses, based on your dice roll. The healer can remove as many curses as you want as long as you have fame. The first curse costs 8 fame to remove, second costs 10, third costs 12, and so on. The Cunning Man will accept a curse as a trade, and forgotten dreams lets you replace any of these you have already encountered.

The equipment you will want to bring is actually what can make this exceptionally easy. Spiked Boneguard will prevent the next curse you would receive, but the biggest boon here is King's Crown, which lets you sacrifice your companion for a few turns to prevent a curse. If you can get the King's Crown within the first 2 maps you should have the fame to use it by the third map, which will then allow you to prevent all further curses you would gain with it's effect, thus diminishing the amount of curses you need to actively remove to 2, which should be easily accomplished with the curse removal cards in the deck.

For those of us who haven't unlocked the King's Crown yet, look to the Spiked Boneguard as your savior.

If you can acquire the Spiked Boneguard within the first two maps, you should be golden. The key with the Boneguard, however, is to not equip it until just before the first encounter of the third map. That way you can ensure that it dispels the curse that gives you more curses.

Now you'll only need to dispel three curses, which should be doable with the Encounter cards Dalfiuss mentioned.

This one can be tricky, since it requires you to circumvent the Pentacle, which gives you curses before every encounter. Load your deck with equipment like Spiked Boneguard (Which allows you to ignore/discard the first curse you encounter) and King's Crown (Reward for the Sun, discard a Curse in exchange for losing your companion for 3 turns.)

Supply yourself with Fame as well as Food, because a lot of the equipment that helps you with Curse has a high Fame requirement.

As for encounters, load yourself up with The Demon Arae, Cunning Man, The Underneath, Healer, Forgotten Dreams to repeat encounters, and a large amount of equipment gain: My go to is Thomas the Ogre, since his Precision Gambit is rather easy. If you can get the Spiked Boneguard before the third floor, unequip it and save it before you get to the Pentacle. Otherwise, try and get enough fame to equip the King's Crown so you can discard new curses, and use the encounters to get rid of the ones you might still have.

I tend to avoid using Little Demon, just because if you don't have a curse when you get to him, he always gives you one.

There are a lot of cards in the game that remove curses. The main thing is that they fall out on time, especially for the last curse artifact. And be careful with the demon, if there are no curses on you, he will hang them (and if there are, he will remove them). The most dangerous is the 3rd artifact because there is a terrible curse that almost every turn brings a new curse. It must be removed at any cost as quickly as possible. Ideally, of course, to have spiked armor, it prevents the curse from the artifact from hanging itself 1 time (it works, tested) and the crown of the king. In general there is a considerable element of luck, but nothing too difficult.
