How to unlock the Very Brave or Very Stupid achievement in Hand of Fate - Definitive Guide

There are certain cards that make this easier to get. "The Crucible" and "Summer Solstice" guarantee that you will have to fight more than once in a row. When facing either of these cards kill off all but one of the creatures and then let the last one take your health down until it is less than 5. Kill the last creature and this achievement will pop as soon as you start up the next battle.

And just in case anyone was wondering this won't pop on apprentice difficulty.

A tip I found that might be helpful. I used The Crucible option, and found myself in a scenario where the last remaining enemy would kill me in one hit. Frustrated I exited the game and played something else. When I came back, the game loaded to the point just before I moved onto The Crucible card. You get the same choice of enemies as before, but you can try again without restarting the entire match. This also works if you die, as soon as you take the fatal blow if you force end the game by starting another you can try again.

As well as using the other method, letting yourself run out of food is an option. Then you will lose health with every card you pass. I entered a battle with 4 health this way. You will lose -10 for every card you move while you have no food.

Excellent solution, however I was losing only 9 health per turn. It's possible I was doing this earlier in the game or had a blessing or some other buff. It can be a git dicey cause you have to hit combat right before starving, but that's the risks you take when adventuring..... or achievement hunting. Thanks.

The amout of life you lose to starvation depends on the difficulty--I believe it's 9 on Adventurer (normal) and 10 on Warlord (hard).

foundthe starving method risky, doesnt fair well, as trying to "guarantee" combat when you need it can prove tricky.

Every step you do having food gives you health, probably more than 3 which mean you'll not be able to enter any combat with less than 5 health having food on you. The trick is to starve, when you not have food then you will lose life at every turn/step you do. It is important to note is that first you will lose life then you will trigger the new event, which means that if you have 9 health then you should go and step on a battle event so you lose 5 to 8 life for that step thus leaving you with 1 to 4 health when the battle starts. You don't have to win that battle, just trigger/enter the fight.

The Crucible and Summer Solstice cards will help us. In both maps there are several battles in a row. In the first battle we kill all enemies except the last one. Then we let him drop his health below 5, the main thing is to watch how much his attack takes so as not to die. When health is below 5, we finish off the last enemy. Then the second battle will begin and the trophy will drop.
