How to unlock the Wealthy Lord achievement in Hand of Fate - Definitive Guide
Selling your weapon in a 'Noble Trader' encounter (you will need to have any weapon equipment card other than your default) will net you 5 gold gain cards, which every time I've drawn over 200 gold.

This is the way to go. Of course the second time I sold something to him I got barely more than 80 gold due to my bad luck, but the first time I got around 180 off him. Not a bad card to have in your deck either because of this.

It doesn't have to be a weapon, if you have anything other than base gear he'll offer to buy it. Also not sure what the randomness is on the gold gain cards; I only got 4.
Something else that can help - After you beat the King of Scales, one of the buffs you get puts gold and food randomly on the board.

The best way to increase your chances of this achievement are to customise your deck.
In deckbuilder Press to inspect the card. Now, Insert cards which offer weapons, gold, equipment, blessings etc and remove cards which offer combat or nothing.
The best cards to include are; Noble trader, Treasure Chest, Mister Lionel (ask him what he needs), the maiden(ask for gold) , Loan, Stranger in the Shadows etc. Plus take note as you play the game which cards netted you a chunk of gold and include them such as Dark Ritual
Dont play an early game the levels are too short. I tend to play the third row level Queen of Plagues
If you are a little short of the 200 target then:
Sell items, if you included cards which gave weapons etc you should have a decent inventory so sell off the excess. There is a contract which for every strike the enemy drops gold which is handy. Stranger in Shadows allows you to sell 10 health.
Customising the deck is really key to quickly earning this achievement.
People Playing on Easy have reported that they have not received this achievement. So play on Normal

You cannot get this trophy by playing on Apprentice difficulty.
Have 100 gold on you during 1 game. When you spend money you lose that, so make sure you are holding on to that cash for this trophy. A big help is the "A Merchant's Favour" event which gives you 100 gold. I recommend doing this in Endless mode because you need some time to gain gold but it's doable in story mode.
