How to unlock the Well Supplied achievement in Hand of Fate - Definitive Guide

It helps if luck is on your side for this achievement.

The way I got this to pop was by running into the 'Noble Trader' encounter on endless mode and selling him my 'Sword' equipment card for 5 gold gain cards, after which I ended up with around 239 gold. After that I ran into the 'Wheel of God' encounter and got a 'Huge Success' card, gave me as much food as I had gold, which gave me 239 food, well over the amount needed for this achievement.

The game is heavily RNG focused, I don't see what you're so upset about.headspin

Thanks for the feedback on it not popping on easy. I agree with mastagus, this isn't a solution. There is a better strategy than this that is more likely to happen, hopefully someone who finds it will post.

This achievement will not unlock on Apprentice mode. I managed to amass 158 food and it didn’t pop. Makes sense, since it says some achievements cannot be unlocked on this mode. I thought I’d give it a go whilst I was going for other achievements anyway.

This is a viable solution but poorly explained.

-Choose your preferred Story Mode, a later one that's longer.
-Place "Wheel of God" in your Encounter deck.
-Choose "Warlord" difficulty as Huge Success will not appear on Adventurer (apparently).
-Save and amass gold to try to have at least 120.
-Achieve Huge Success on the Wheel of God card and your food total may become your gold total, unlocking the achievement. (If you don't get Huge Success, dashboard/force quit the game and reload to try again.)

I got this by playing through 'The Dealer' in story mode. Between the bonus gold on some encounters each level, consistently selecting cards that provide gold (or a lot of gold, i.e. The Maiden) you can accrue quite a bit of gold. If you're 100 gold or so away from being able to buy 120 food, just sell off items... You will have 100 gold worth of items from normal gains in encounters.

Ring of Engorging makes food purchases 2 for 1.

Scavengers Cap gives you 45% extra food.

If you can get helmets and land on Soldiers on Leave, they will give you a ton of food gain cards in exchange for the helmets. I got about 70 just from this card because I had 3 helmets to give them.

Best rate you can get is 3 gold : 1 food, so 120 food * 3 gold/food means you'll need 360 gold by the end (ignoring benefits from above items).

This is a good solution. Just wanted to add that you can sell every piece of gear you have to reach the 120 gold, and then quit the game and relaunch to put you back at the shop. So as long as you have enough items to reach that 360 gold you can do so without ruining whatever playthrough you are currently on.

(Difficulty)

You cannot get this trophy by playing on Apprentice difficulty.

120 food is quite a lot and every step cost food so think of that when going for this. The best place to give it a go is Endless mode. Buy food from shops wherever possible, have events that give you food like the Maiden and Good cards. Upon a huge success during the Wheel of the Gods event, you get food equal to your health.

The Wheel of the Gods card works well. With great success, there is a chance that the amount of food will become equal to the amount of gold. Accordingly, having about 100 gold in your pocket, you can easily buy the missing food from merchants. 100 gold can easily be obtained from the “Help to the Merchant” or “Royal Treasury” scarts
