It is best to get this as your last achievement because you will get a large amount of the money you need finishing up story mode and all the clothing stores will have all the items.
If you have a turbo controller however you can get this really easy just turn the A button on turbo and start the riding the horse mini game you can just rubber band the A button down and go do whatever you want until you get enough money. It will get about 2-3 coins everytime and will restart automatically. Otherwise you can do it yourself and get 4-5 a time.
Then just go around and buy clothing items. Until you get 100
Bracelets do NOT count!

Buttons and decals do not count either, so if you're going for this, stick with jeans, shirts, skirts, and jackets to be safe.

I really wish I had read this before hand. Then I wouldn't have bought all those stupid bracelets thinking that they had counted.
