Use LT to slide through the Goblins with shields so you can stab them in the back for decent damage and use the ballista on the final boss (you can rebuild it if it gets destroyed).
This tactic also works for the next mission Cookie Thief.

The "Search for the Princess" quest is they very first one in Chapter 1. After completing the tutorial, the knight will walk you through how to story quests and basically force you to play this one before you can start doing everything on your own.
The quest consists of two areas. The first is just a bunch of goblin enemies, while the second includes a boss of sorts. He's nothing out of the ordinary as he is just a little bigger and more powerful. He does have a few additional attacks where he can blast the players away from him and another that stuns them for a brief period. Just keep hacking away on him and after you complete the quest, the trophy will pop.
