You can get gear by playing co-op, skirmish, quick match, story mode or doing happy tickets, just play through normally and you should get this.
IMPORTANT NOTE- you must own 90 pieces of gear at that time, not over time, the current space is just over 1k in your inventory so 90 isnt too much.
Also any gear from 360 you get will pass-over to one, they're connected.
