This one's pretty easy, just keep leveling up and playing story mode and you'll eventually reach 30 items. You can also give a shot to the Card games for random items, and with some luck you can get...

You can get gear by playing co-op, skirmish, quick match, story mode or doing happy tickets, just play through normally and you should get this.
IMPORTANT NOTE- you must own 30 pieces of gear at that time, not over time, the current space is just over 1k in your inventory so 30 isnt too much.
also any gear you may have on 360 will move over to this aswell, so if you are one who played 360s version and moved to this you'll most likely get this straight away.

You get items after every match and when you spin the Happy Wheel. This does not take that long. When you get a blue box you get 1 item and when you get a red box instead of a blue box you get 3 items.
By using an item to upgrade something else you will need some more time because you need all 15 items in your inventory at the same time.

When a game is completed, you will gain items. As you play along, you shall get more and more items.
This achievement shall unlock naturally as you go for the other achievements, so do not worry about it.
