How to unlock the The definition of a warrior! achievement in Hard Corps: Uprising - Definitive Guide

You can do this fairly easy and you don't have to wrack your brain over it. Simply play co-op with a friend and at the begining of the first level die and lose all of your lives and then let your friend continue on without you until he beats the last boss in his final form then you mooch one of his extra live off of him and then both of you jump on to the helicopter.
This can be done for the "innate guerilla warfare" achievement as well. The only problem it that it takes a lot of time and your friend has to have an above average skill in the game, in my opinion.

the reason i wrote and don't have the achievement is because My friend and i were on the final boss and then my router failed and i lost the heart to sit there and do it for another few hours. Despite that, this has been confirmed by a few of my friends that have done it.

Reminder that this does work wonderfully for the following achievements: Innate Guerilla Warfare, The definition of a warrior!, and possibly The Strongest Warrior as well. The latter achievement I earned in a different Arcade Mode session hence the possibly.

I played this game from ~ 10 a.m. until ~ 11: 30 p.m. with decent breaks. 'Total Clear Time' was 08:32:59 & sadly a weapon drop fell on me in the last section. After that long I wasn't bothered as it truly taught me to play this game. If you have someone else play for you until you drop in at the last minute, this achievement will be at least 5 times easier for you.

My question is would this work in local co op with just one account and two controllers?

I just did this and failed at the last boss as an item dropped on my head. Sucks!

Tested this and it is confirmed to work. Positive vote for you sir!

On the other hand, one thing I would like to add is be sure to jump into the game and bum a life off of your friend or yourself if playing with two controllers before the final boss is dead (Tiberius Invictus). If you do it after the boss is dead, the game WILL NOT allow you to join no matter how many lives your friend has.

When playing by myself, I got the boss at 5% health, pressed A on the other controller, then killed the boss. I let my 2nd controller die off while my main account jumped onto the helicopter.

You’ll have to make it through all 8 levels without picking up any of the capsules. Just avoid them at all costs. You can also use any of the DLC characters. Sayuri’s sword attacks are powerful and will make getting this trophy a lot easier.

You'd better get used to that peashooter, because it's all you'll be using for the entirety of the game! This achievement isn't too hard if you avoid shooting the flying item carriers; Power-Up Capsules only appear from those!

If you're having a hard time with the default weapon, either use a turbo controller (I hate myself for even considering recommending such a thing, but hey, if you want the achievement that much...) or download Sayuri from the Marketplace! Her sword slashes are much faster and more powerful than the other characters' basic attack and you don't have to worry about losing your weapon when hit. Sayuri has some issues with reaching some bosses' weakpoints, but her charging slash attack more than makes up for that; it's like the Heated Plasma weapon, plus it goes through walls! (This makes level four's boss a total joke.)

Choose Sayuri, she doesn't need ammo.

And playing arcade mods with the default machine makes no sense)
