How to unlock the You can never play too much. achievement in Hard Corps: Uprising - Definitive Guide

I found an easy way to do this in stage five, which also helps in "S" ranking the level.

Get to the stationary area in-between 2 conveyor belts (the one on the right will be pushing out boxes to the right). Stand on the "solid" ground, and keep killing the cane that comes down above you.

It helps to have either an upgraded spread gun or machine gun.

Just let loose on that crane (super fast respawn time) and enjoy all that CP.

-- hope this helps.

This doesn't work as after awhile you will get the Negative Penalty on the screen and will not get anymore CP for the rest of the level.

This is adding on to Inspired Truth's guide.

To start with, you will have to finish rising mode with each character in order to get them to 100%.

Also, I'm almost completely sure you only have to level up Bahamut and Krystal for the achievement. I know this method works extremely well for Sayuri, but everyone else seems slightly less effective to me.

In stage 5 (the laboratory mission) there are mechanical arms above conveyor belts. When you first encounter them, stand under the first arm's spawn while slashing straight up. You have to jump to hit both of the two arms, but in approximately 30 minutes I had a multiplier of 90 and a score of 266 million.

The gunners will want to use a spread shot or a machine gun while letting the conveyor belts push them into the left edge of the screen. If done properly, the pit will be off of the screen making the left edge a wall essentially. Then you just stand there aiming to the top right corner firing your gun.

Using this method, in one run I had enough to max a 50% complete Sayuri and have 155 million points left over. I had maybe 50 million prior to the run, although I'm thinking less. When the negative penalty comes up, just let the arms kill you and quit to get to the points faster. Otherwise go ahead and finish the mission.

As The 8bucks50 mentioned in the comments, if you go further to the right from the point in the guide you can take out the arms and a stream of bots that charge at you. These bots blow up when they die, splitting into multiple pieces which add to the multiplier if destroyed. I haven't personally tested this yet, but it could potentially lead to a faster point gain and getting the achievement sooner.

Yeah, Tsumeno that is the spot and those are the bots I'm talking about. It's crucial to have Spreadshot there, btw, because the way the bots blow up could get you hit if you don't have spread.

Thanks for mentioning needing to level up both Bahamut and Krystal, I wasn't sure on that. Also, if you can stand in a spot (on stage 5 where you mentioned) where those exploding guys charge you, you can dramatically increase your multiplier because those guys split into four destructible pieces.

In stage 2, the part where you first jump across the robot gators, stay on the platform to the left of them. You should be able to get all three on screen.

Key to this is getting a spread, level 2+ makes this much easier, you have a chance to get one as you step onto the dock. All you need to do is aim down and to the right, and if you have a powered up spread, you should hit all of them by just standing, otherwise you will have to jump to hit all three.

Generally, coming to these guys with no combo should net you around 20-30 million. If you are careful and fast enough after the wall, you can come to this area with a combo of around 20, in which case, you should be able to net around 60-70 million.

When the Negative Penalty hits, you can kill yourself off or finish the stage. Note that after the Negative Penalty, the only points you can get are from dropped items.

I believe I have found a fast track to make this cheevo easier. There are many spots in this game with unlimited spawns. If you can find a sweet spot to stand you can actually farm kills, well at least for awhile anyway.

A good spot that I have found for this is at Stage 2 Jungle.

Shortly after the first door boss there is a series of platforms with enemies on them. One of which is a group of 2. One from the ground and one floating above and to the right. One has a sniper and the other has a brute on it. Kill them and hop on the platform(s). Under will be a constant flow of soldiers, 4at a time to be exact. There is enough of them to keep your green combo meter up. So just continue to light them up.

After about a half hour you will see something to the effect of negative bonus flash on the screen and you will stop collecting points. Now you just have to die to end the game to receive your credits.

WARNING: If you just quit the game you will not receive credits. You must lose all your lives and when you get to the continue screen press end.

The first solider is worth $1000. So whatever your multiplier is at X 1000 is what you are getting per kill. I was able to net about 15,000,000 per run. I hope this helps.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting!

You only need to purchase all of the items for Bahamut and Krystal. You purchase items with CP or Corp Points that are earned in game. The DLC character's don't count towards this trophy. In order to fully obtain all of their items, you need to accumulate a total of 225,550,000 CP for each character. You have to play as the character to earn CP for the character.

You can grind points on the 2nd Stage: Jungle. When you reach the sub-boss with the alligators on either side you can grind out points here. It makes life a lot easier if you find and keep the flame power up. It has the letter "H" on it. Note that eventually the combo will max out and your points will no longer count. You can either continue on and finish the stage or kill yourself and get a game over.

Corp Points will save any time you get a game over or complete a stage.

See video for the location of the grind spot (credit to Treasurefan02):

This requires you to purchase every upgrade for Bahamut and Krystal (thanks to cra for confirming that DLC characters are not applicable) from the Shop & Customize menu. You earn Corps Points to spend in the store by doing virtually anything that earns you points in Rising Mode, but not in Arcade Mode!

You'll find the full list of store contents for each character and the cost of each upgrade in the companion thread.

I should also mention the two popular locations for boosting Corps Points:
-In stage 2, after dealing with either of the boss fights excluding the wall cannon, just keep killing the crocodiles that respawn on either side of the island.
-In stage 5, find a spot with a crane spawning overhead and no other enemies spawning onscreen (the best spot is as high as you can go above the Score Item in the regular treasure chest; the screen stops scrolling back to the left once you reach this conveyor belt,) then just aim up and keep destroying those cranes.
