You won't need a guide for this, nor will you ever need one, considering that this isn't really possible to get in one playthrough. N.A.N.O. canisters are the glowing orange blocks scattered around the game world that you frequently encounter and can use to earn upgrade points to customize your weapons.
Collecting 41 N.A.N.O. bars is pretty much mandatory for a new playthrough on Insane difficulty, considering that it requires 45 N.A.N.O. bars altogether to max out your character.
If you scavenged every area thoroughly during your first playthrough, you should have these two achievements by the end of the game:
When you start your new game on Ex Mode, your character should only need a few more N.A.N.O. to fully be maxed out, so collecting all the secrets in an area can speed this up. You're guaranteed to unlock it if you're going for these three:
