A few hints that are useful if you want to fight in Insane.
It is useful to have a weapon with explosive power. I stupidly didn't have it. That's why I looked for another way.
There are pedestals at the corners. You can hide behind them when Atlas attacks with his cannons. He prefers to shoot with his (from your point of view) left cannon. You can simply destroy the right cannon. For the left cannon you can charge your energy weapon and fire a powerful shot.
As soon as both cannons are destroyed, the second difficult phase follows. Atlas releases such small robots. You can quickly kill them with a mortar or rocket launcher. Otherwise do the following: You can jump up onto the pedestals. There are arches at the corners. You can jump up there. The little robots can't attack you at the top. Now you only have to watch out for Atlas' wind (?) attacks. Run towards the pillar. Shoot at the glowing body parts.
When all the body parts are destroyed, the armour at the pelvis lights up. Shoot it with everything you have.
The last phase follows. The small robots are destroyed. Atlas is floating and is red. Shoot his body until he is finally completely destroyed.
