There are two achievements for this one mission. DO THIS ONE FIRST.

During Act 3 of the campaign you will have an option to do the mission "Industrial Action." This will come along around the time you get under a billion debt, see the Act 3 achievement guide for more information and spoilers, but it's triggered in part by receiving a "spam" email on your employee terminal. Begin this mission and complete 3 salvage goals as you normally would. The timer is removed so it's pretty easy and you can take your time.

Once the achievement pops immediately select abandon shift in the menu to return to the menu so you can do Industrial Action again for the second achievement for failing 3 salvage goals.

Good parts to salvage correctly for the goals; thrusters, reactor and radiation filters. This will make this achievement a lot easier. And the panels of the ship of course.

I believe it is a missable achievement though, since you can’t replay the mission later if you sided with the union on this mission. That’s what I did and to my knowledge I can’t go back and get this one

Did a rerun of the entire game and this pos achievement still bugged and didn't unlock. Not doing it again.

Damn, I didn't realize this achievement was a thing when I did the mission originally. I'm at the point now where my ship is all done and I could end my contract at any time but I'm still just playing to get max level and max upgrades on the tools. I kick myself know realizing that you can get both achievements in one run. Not worth replaying the whole game just to get this one for me.
