Simply go to the 'Multiplayer' option on the menu and join any multiplayer game, you do not have to finish the game to get the achievement.

Alternative since *nobody* is playing this online.
If you have a 2nd 360, system link works. Since the game is free, just download it under a 2nd profile (can be silver) on your other 360.
Go to multiplayer, pick system link, and have your main account search for a system link game and you'll get the achievement.
Additionally your 2nd account will get the hosting achievement. :)

For this achievement you simply need to join another players lobby, from the main menu select to play multiplayer and then quick search, the moment you find a game and join the lobby the achievement will unlock.

If you're trying to get this achievement in 2016 or later, it's going to be almost impossible for you to get it by joining a random match as no one is online for this game. If you are looking to get this achievement, send me a message either on here and I can host a game for you to join to get this achievement to pop.
