How to unlock the Hangleton Hero achievement in Harry Potter for Kinect - Definitive Guide
I honestly found this much easier by constantly moving left and right and casting spells. When you start immediately start moving left and right and cast levicorpus repeatedly until it hits, then switch to another spell and hit him with that until he drops. Do this over and over, but make sure you use all the spells at least once. So levicorpus, incendio, levicorpus, stupefy, levicorpus, expellarimus, levicorpus, immbolus. I was able to get 5 stars with a score of 55 in the accuracy section.
I am adding this solution I wrote for the death eater duel to these other duel sequences with a few adjustments. I figured out this pattern almost at the end of the game and wish I would have earlier in the game.
There are 3 categories you are scored on, accuracy, spell variety and avoiding spells. The variety is easy, just select each of your spells and make sure they hit. Some are easy to see like when you freeze them, levitate them and knock them to the ground. The incendio and stupify attacks you need to just watch for little hearts to come out of them and also their individual health bars will appear and go down a little bit. Do the variety of spells first and get them all out of the way.
My pattern would always be throwing 2 quick spells and then immediately dodging to the other side of the screen to avoid the first spell which will always be blocked back to me. If you get the timing down, it should be about half a second between the first spell and the second. Do not immediately throw the second one, delay just a bit. The second spell will almost always hit when you have the correct amount of spacing between the two spells. Another way of timing this is to cast the first spell and then when it is about halfway to reaching the enemy throw another spell.
The best combo I found once I had my variety out of the way was to use the levioso (spelling?) attack to pull them into the air. You can throw your two spells in the delay described above and dodge to the side to avoid the first spell which will be thrown back at you. Then when they are suspended in the air switch quickly to incendio and throw 4 spells super fast all in-a-row. At least 2-3 of them will land while they are hanging and bring down their health about 1/4.
For accuracy, by this point you should be pretty good with aiming your spell left, right or center. I am fairly certain that spells you cast that the enemy uses protego to deflect count as a hit. I would throw quite a few spells and still have a 70-80% accuracy.
Hope this helps everyone with these duel sequences.

This one is a little bit difficult but once you get the hang of it it shouldn't be to hard. Switch spells to try to hit him with each once because you will be scored on variety. Its hard to see the arm motions, but in the bottom left hand corner is the arm motion to make to switch. Be as accurate as possible but dont worry to much on it, I got five stars with only 56% accuracy. Also dodge and use your shield spell as much as possible. This is the third and final minigame for year 4.
