How to unlock the Playcaller achievement in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions - Definitive Guide
This requires the Keepers sixth Teamwork ability Playcaller Ring Slow. It should be as simple as having the opposing teams Chaser go through one of your play call rings and slow them down then save the shot. It is currently very temperamental and took dozens of tries before one counted for the achievement. I recommend playing on the hardest difficulty to have the opponents attempt to score as often as possible.

Just got this, I wish there was an easy way to say this was done but the rng is real. I did take away all stat points of my team and put them on the worst brooms I had. Then I played on 2 star as I was seeing that they didn’t avoid the rings like the higher difficulty did. 3 hours later and I did it.

For a long time I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong, I also read on the Internet that many people don't get the trophy and it's a bug. So, you need the attacker to hit your ring right in front of the gate (probably because the debuff doesn't last long) and before the throw, so start placing the rings right from the gate in the direction the attacker is moving. I set the difficulty to medium to make it easier to catch.
P.S. It is not necessary to hit the quaffle, it is enough to just catch it. Good luck to everyone)

I agree, according to the first comment it took a long time to do, you just need to wait until the opponent flies close, no more than 3 rings between you and direct it straight at him along the trajectory of his flight. Then do not flicker from ring to ring, but stand and wait in that ring in the direction in which he flew and you do not need to hit anything, when hitting you can knock it out of his hands, the opponent will not even have time to throw the ball.

Take a goalkeeper - pump up the skill with the exact same name to the maximum (in the center of TeamWork perks).. set the maximum difficulty so that they fly to visit you more often.. and click on that same perk..
The task: to get the opponent into at least one ring... and then as it was for me: it worked from the third time, when I started trying to make them along the trajectory of a boomerang flight, because they fly around straight lines easily. I started doing it myself when I got into the opponent's red rings (the acceleration energy began to decrease).. so.. the opponent got into the ring.. then threw the ball.. and accidentally hit it.. (but most likely this is not necessary, but I clarified just in case)
