How to unlock the Combo King achievement in Hasbro Family Game Night 3 - Definitive Guide

I got this fairly easy solo in Remix mode. I used 4 controllers and always drew 1 card as quickly as possible with the other 3 controllers to keep the game going. I saved Combo Lord and Combo King for last and got both within 2 games.

Just pair up your colors and cards as quickly as possible and get 6 Combo Cards before time runs out.

You still have to fight the clock and the deck even this way, so it's still not a guarantee, but at least you don't have to worry about your "opponents" getting the combos before you, so eventually you should get it.

I found it difficult to handle the four controllers without running out of time, so I ended up playing with just two controllers and two computer players, and I got lucky and was able to do it the first try. Don't bother having your other controller(s) discard cards you want for your main controller, just go for speed.

every game i have played so far has only been yahtzees and large straights...so i guess i'm bound to get lucky eventually.

Collect dice cards to make classic combinations: 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind, small straight, large straight, full house and YAHTZEE! The only thing is the card colors need to match, but you can use the multicolor cards to assist you.

If the first card combo that shows is a yahtzee, you should start over and save time. I got lucky by restarting each time until I ended up with just needing 3 of a king and small straights to get the combos to win. It's really all about luck and discarding the cards quickly

OMG this game is RIDICULOUS. Soooo damn frustrating. Remix mode and I get a small straight first up and then it throws a yahtzee card, then DISCARDS it when no-one got it, THEN throws down ANOTHER yahtzee card straight away to replace it. Someone gets it and then it throws ANOTHER GODDAMN YAHTZEE CARD. X(

but.. to get the 4 controllers in the game, you need to have 4 accounts, right? and as far as I know you can only create 3 accounts per console...
How do you do it??

Best way to get this is by boosting. If you're playing an online game, you can choose to play original mode and not just remix mode. Simply go for the highest (Yahtzee) combo card and work your way down collecting all six of the cards available. Always go for 6's and 5's so that it's not possible to beat you out (In case you only got 3 people to sign up and the computer is in the game).

You can do this in by youself (Either play an original FULL original game and try to win every all 6 of the cards or play a 4-player remix and try to get 6 cards before the time runs out), but it's alot easier by boosting it with 3 other people online. If you're doing it online, play a game in original mode and just have someone else go "Hands Down" with hands that are lower than yours so you win them all. You can find boosting partners in the Trophy Boosting Thread. Once you obtain 6 cards in one game, the trophy will pop!
