How to unlock the The Beautiful Dance achievement in Hasbro Family Game Night 3 - Definitive Guide

You will not get this achievement merely for not missing a note, **you have to perfectly align the beats in the center circle when they pass by** for EVERY note. The game will make a red target firework animation, letting you know you hit perfect for that note.

It took me several tries to get this achievement; I recommend practicing over and over again on the same song, as the buttons you need to press will always be the same, helping you to anticipate things. I got it on Quick Game > Pop > Dreamer.

I also want to add that the poster above me is incorrect about needing to press more than just A for the Freestyle sections. I did all A's just fine; remember, it's about **hitting the notes when they are perfectly in the center circle**.

Hi, nice solution. For the freestyle sections i meant that pressing more different buttons can help and in this case got me my achievement. Didn't say all A's or all B's won't work, I just found it a little easier :)

I'm terrible on anything that demands "perfection", even though I was a top chair in our highly rated music program back in school... (many years ago, but I won't date myself. ::grin::) I suppose my reflexes have slowed a little over the years, and lets face it, playing a controller is not playing an instrument. Anyway, I was struggling with the "song" I was working on but I changed to this one due to your suggestion and got it in about 5 tries, so tyvm. My controller thanks you, too. I didn't throw it at the wall in frustration. :)

Pop -> Dreamer is the way to go. 37,000 score and it popped.

Also, as a side note to help other people... This may or may not work for you... But to help me get the beats EXACTLY, I didn't bother looking at the screen but just tapped my foot and counted off the "notes" in 4/4 time (1,2,3,4 - 1,2,3,4...) and when it came to the freestyle part I counted it off like a double beat (1 & 2 & 3 & 4 - 1 & 2 & 3 & 4....) and I did the ABAB instead of AAAA so I didn't hit them too fast. This is first year music stuff but it's just weird doing it with a controller and a moving target. That's why I think it really helped to memorize the pattern and just not look. Between each phrase, I glanced up to see which pattern was coming up and then cookies back down at the controller and counted it off again. I hope this helps. Good luck! And Thanks again to Tigress!

In an original game of twister you have to copy the buttons in time with the music to score. For this achievement you have to get a full perfect score.

Unfortunately, the only way to see if you've made a mistake is by looking at your score that updates every finished segment. The score goes per 500 points so if you hit a score like 6250 it's best to start over again. Just try to hit the buttons as soon as they hit the biggest circle.

In the freestyle sections the best way is to press: ABXYABXY instead of AAAAAAAA. Even when i was right on target, the game didn't give me a perfect score when I pressed one button in the freestyle sections. As soon as I switched to ABXY, I got it.
UPDATE: It should also be possible to do the freestyle sections with two buttons like A and B. Thanks to ''Stupid Dex''

I got this achievement just now, and during the freestyle section i just did ABABABAB. I know it's basically what you said, but I just wanted to pass it along since 2 buttons (both thumbs) is a little easier than ABXYABXY.

As stated, this one is definitely much easier using more button variety. The timing just seems more forgiving when you use all of the buttons.

Ok so I recently unlocked this one and wanted to clear up some uncertanties.

This requires you to score maximum points in a game of original twister. You do not need to play long play I unlocked it on quick play.

The score you need to obtain is 45,000 points in quick play and the achievement is yours! Just pick a song that suits you and keep playing it over and over as the button combos never change. Good luck

Weird.... I scored 40k on one game, and this didn't pop. The next game, I got like 37k and bloop!
I think this one is a little buggy.

Yeh it could be, or maybe u did a different song and each one has a different max score?

I just did this on Quick Play, Disco, Starlight, and my score was 37,000. I agree that there are probably different scores for different songs, based on how many dance moves you have to hit.

I had over 44,000 on Disco "Starlight" and the achievement didn't unlock for me. Back to the drawing board!

Start a quick single player game of original TWISTER and make sure that you hit every button though out the entire round as you can not miss any (including freestyle). You must also hit the buttons in the when they are in the middle of the "hit area" for maximum points. Also, you must use all 4 buttons during your "freestyle" for additional points.

For an easier time, when selecting the music, pick "Pop" then "Dreamer" (Perfect Score of 45,000 points). The button combos you will need to do are:

Once you complete a round with a perfect score, the trophy will pop!
