How to unlock the Unstoppable achievement in Haven - Definitive Guide

I am happy to report that you can dashboard whenever both characters are knocked out. Hit the guide button and force quit game when both Yu and Kay are downed. If only one is downed, it is totally fine even if you pacify the last enemy without reviving them.

This unlocks after you complete the epilogue and are basically at the title screen. I was scared I missed it because or how late it showed up.

It auto saves whenever you get to another section so you aren't placed too far back.

You can lose up to 3 times and yet get the achievement.

Once you have fixed the ship, go to Title Screen, Load Game, Copy. This way, you can launch the ship, choose the "bad ending" and get this achievement.
Then, reload a file in which you haven't launched the ship, now you are free to take your time beating the hardest monsters and getting the other achievements without worries about losing. And, lastly, make the choice with the good endind without playing the whole game again.

To partly confirm, I finished the game with one full knockout (Back at the nest patching up after loss) and still got the achievement

Can confirm I've been knocked out probably five times throughout the game, including one time being knocked out by Hornets (which give a different knockout screen requiring to revert to a checkpoint). Once I picked the good ending, I finished the epilogue, let the credits run out, clicked out of the picture and the game brought me to the title screen along with the achievement. Not sure if the achievement tracking is somehow bug, but I've heard they made a patches to the game so they've had to know of this.

What constitutes a knockout? What exactly happens, so I know what to look for? Appreciate the help

Holy crud, it does indeed show up late. Once you click off the pic of Kay and Yu with Yu flashing the bunny ears/peace sign it pops.

I just finished the game, did both endings, let all the epilogue finish, and I did NOT get this achievement. I did get knocked out a couple times though :\

I went to title screen after doing everything but the endings. Went into load game and selected copy save (as stated above). I viewed the good ending and then messed about in the epilogue.
Quit to main screen and loaded copy save and did the bad ending. To my mega major whooping fantastical surprise I got the unstoppable achievement seconds after the bad ending achievement pipped and was knocked out twice by bosses which then automated the game. Thought I'd blown it. So happy to not repeat 15 hours of gaming!

The PS trophy description says "Finish the game with 3 or less KOs" which probably explains why this achievement will still unlock for those with 1-2 knockouts. Can still reload save if wanna be safe.

*MISSABLE*
This achievement sounds much harder than it is. First of all, you can lower the game's difficulty if you'd like to make combat easier. Then, you can also dashboard and force quit the game if you ever do get KO'd. The game doesn't save directly after a death, only when either moving to a new island or quitting the game from the menu. It is also important to note that a "KO" is only counted if both characters fall in battle at the same time. If one person falls and you finish the battle without them, that's fine.

I would suggest making use the of the save copy feature when you choose "Load Game" from the menu. Do this every hour or so to further minimize the risk of needing an entire second playthrough if you somehow do get a KO that saves. Otherwise, just dashboard if you die, and be sure to return to the nest often to rest, cook, and synthesize medicine.

You can use the control panel when both characters are knocked out. Press the control button and force quit the game when Yu and Kei are confused. If only one gets shot down, you'll be fine, even if you subdue the last enemy without reviving them.

It unlocks after you complete the epilogue and are mostly on the title screen (so don't worry).

It is not necessary to complete the game without any knockouts; other sources indicate that there should be less than three. I got the achievement with two knockouts.

A knockout is considered to be the incapacitation of both characters. In the main menu, in "Load game" you can make a copy of the save.
