How to unlock the Crushed achievement in Hawken - Definitive Guide

This achievement may not be as clean cut as it sounds. When you fall on another mech, you do very little damage. The easiest way to do this is wait on high ground until you see an enemy with low health or can manage to get someone to low health. Using RB to fly up higher will result in you doing more damage on the landing, but will make it harder to aim your landing location. This may be easiest with friends, having your friends lure enemies to vulnerable spots. This is all assuming you're against boosting, if you aren't, then it shouldn't be hard to find someone on True Achievements to boost with.

EDIT: I have since learned that you can also get this achievement against bots according to people commenting on my solution.

If higher height means more damage, would stand to reason Heavy mechs would do more damage also then, yes?

Heavy mechs would be: Brawler, Grenadier, Incinerator, Marauder, Rocketeer, 36M, Vanguard.

I don't know to be honest, that would be something great to research. If you can test it and get results, I'll add it to the solution if you would be interested in helping better my solution.

It is worth noting this can be obtained in Co-Op TDM, which is 6 players against 6 bots, the bots make for extremely easy targets.

A Friend and I got this easy by first selecting a low population server like South America. (From main menu select play then on the top right select the server South America) We picked South America, and there was no one on. YMMV. If there are too many others on the server, try another region or game mode. Then we picked death match. It was only us in the match.

Get your HP low by using secondary weapon of the starter mech or have your friend hit you until you are low. Hover over your friend or jump up on to a crate then fall on to your friends mech.

The description sums it up pretty well.

The best tip is to stay on high ground and drop on enemy Mech's, using the boost ability (RB) also helps you gain air and drop on the enemy.

The 'Crushed' Medal will pop up with your kill so you will know you did it right. It also must be done online.

Is it the same for the 100kills during repair?

Can confirm that this doesn't work against training bots, received the "Crushing it" medal but received no achievement.

(EDIT: It does work in Co-Op Deathmatch bots.)

Can anyone clarify if the other mech has to be low health, or can you crush someone that is at full health? Does height affect how much damage you do?

Yes it works in Co Op Deathmatch, I managed to get it by walking on a mech.

Gotta be low health. Landed on a guy, got hit markers but he didn't die. Only took a huge chunk of health off.

Personally i dropped from a high cliff down onto a Mech with half health and it worked. I had tried doing it from smaller ledges and by using the Boost but they didn't work for me. This lead me to believe that the height you drop must help but there is no sure way to know.

Landing on enemy mechs will damage them based on the distance fallen so the higher you jump from, the more damage you will do.

The hardest part of this trophy is landing on an enemy. Most players will move around continuously, making themselves very hard targets. That said, most people will also get very defensive and potentially even attempt to run away when very low on health; this is your best opportunity to earn this trophy. Get your enemy down to very low health and then start hovering as high as you can with . Note that you do not have infinite fuel so make sure you conserve it for this purpose while in a fire fight. Try to anticipate the movement of the enemy mech and land on top of them.

It's certainly possible to land on top of an enemy mech from a platform much higher than them and get the drop on them without them realizing you were even coming. You can do a lot of damage from high up but the trick here is getting the trajectory just right. You can use your hover () to adjust your positioning but doing so from a high place will only serve to lessen the damage dealt.

Landing on a mech deals very little damage. You either have to be real lucky and squish another mech who is near death or find a mech who is idle. However, the best solution would be to wait on higher ground and wait till an enemy mech with low health walks under you to drop on them. You can also use  to hover and position yourself on top of another mech.

Alternatively this can be boosted with one other person. From the main menu, select 'PLAY' then select 'SERVER BROWSER' and choose a low populated server like Oceania. Look for a Deathmatch and once you are in the lobby, invite your boosting buddy (or boosting group). Once the game starts, lower the HP of your boosting buddies mech until very near death, hold  to hover on top of them or fall down from higher ground.

Note: This can only be done in Online Versus match, not in an Offline Team Deathmatch.

landing deals about 50 damage, so the enemy mech should be killed to zero
