Save all the ammo you can.
When you fight the boss use the incineration option to save ammo. Keep your ammo count above 100. Don’t know if the ammo inside your pistol counts towards it so be sure to have that number at least in the magazine icon.
Once you kill the boss and start the self destruction sequence, run to the exit, as soon as the credits begin to roll the achievement will pop
If you find yourself low on ammo, pick up as many shell casings and mix them with gunpowder, if you still need more, buy the gunpowder from the vending machines.

Pro tip, you can beat the game without running to the exit, saving you ammo trying to fight through the hoards! And yes, the ammo in your gun does NOT count towards the 100, it must all be in a stack in your inventory!
