Inside the sinking car, try to slap awake Lauren and then untie her ropes. Do all of this before kicking out the side window of her door or before the front windshield breaks from the pressure. (When Scott automatically escapes, he will bring along Lauren if her ropes are untied.)

After we untie ourselves, we shake Lauren, then untie her, and only after that we break the glass...

First you need to break the speedometer to cut your ropes with a piece of glass and free your hands! Next, we look at Laura and try to wake her up. After that, we untangle the rope on her hands and break the side window near her chair!

You can also burn your ropes with a cigarette lighter.

We start the car. We take out the cigarette lighter and use it to burn the ropes. After this, we free Lauren from the ropes and get out of the car.
