You do need some luck, but should be able to grab in one or two games if you aims for it for the whole duration of a round.

Took me a few games to get it. Finally got it on Omaha beach just after completing the beach assault. There were some tank up behind the pill boxes. I kept circling around the tanks with an engineer until I could place an anti tank mine in front of it trying to get it to run it over. Killed myself in the process but I got the achievement. Pops immediately upon the tanks destruction. I dont know if the mine is a 1 hit kill or not. The tank I went after was hurt pretty bad.
