How to unlock the Master of Illusion achievement in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - Definitive Guide
-( Story related, cannot be missed )-
The door to the bridge to Helheim is sealed by two of Helal's guardians, Surtr and Valravn. The left door leads to the den where illusions take hold, Valravn's speciality. You have to defeat him as it is to bypass the gate, so you might as well learn a bit more about combat and puzzle mechanics while doing so.
Valravn is a bit quicker than Surtr so be defensive again while only taking one or two quick slashes rather than powerful blows. Building up the blue gauge on Senua's waist, the Focus Gauge, is far more vital this time around as he will eventually fade into shadows and become untouchable without using it. He seemed to have more health than Surtr did too, but what really makes him a challenge is that after being dealt enough damage, he will increase the frequency of his attacks. Dodge, rather than parry, and then go in for a quick hit or two, repeat, and you should see him fall beneath your blade.

After the initial puzzle door, you will reach the gate to Helheim and be required to complete two trials, Fire and Illusion, in order to proceed. Enter the door on the left that leads to the Illusion trial. At the end of this trial, you will need to confront Valravn. The achievement will unlock after defeating him.
