There are TWO ways of doing this Trophy.
First way:
Throw a grenade at your feet then Press X (If on Keyboard then your interact key) whilst looking at the Grenade to throw it back.
Second Way:
Whilst fighting Automatons, they will commonly throw Grenades at you, when it lands and you see it blinking red, interact with it to throw it back.
Note:
If you do it too late, you may kill yourself in the process. First way worked for my friend but not for me. I got mine by doing it the Second way. Hope this helps!

Throwing back a grenade I have thrown myself is not working at all. Tried with multiple grenade types.

Play robot missions normally. When the human sized robots with guns throw glowing red grenades at you, press the interact button (E on keyboard) to throw them.

This one is very simple.
Set your difficulty to trivial and choose any mission with the Automatons. At the moment it’s mainly Defend Colonists as they evac.
Let Robots spawn in. Shoot any melee guys who will rush you and get into cover as the bots with guns shoot you. They will throw a grenade to flush you out of cover. Run to grenade and hit X and the trophy is done.
