This is the one ending that actually gave me more trouble to suss out the most, so I might as well give everyone some pointers on this.
For the most part it's easy, just be really evil all the time, threaten the hostages, get Nova captured, just follow the general villain route and I guess just be mean to Dave cause it's crucial to this next bit.
Essentially just follow the villain route, with two very specific things. One, make Dave grovel when he tries to apologize. Two, don't romance Scorpion. After that you should follow a few steps in the climax. Suggest fighting in the hangar, fell a tree on Dynamo, beat Antonio, press the issue with Scorpion and go to the stage and distract Dynamo with a Nova impression. If you do enough things right, you should get an option to investigate the supercomputer after the final confrontation with "Shining Bedlam." Do so and then betray Scorpion.
Really, I did the most things right during the climax and kept failing to get this ending, I thought just not romancing Scorpion and making the right calls would be enough, but that just netted me the "Henchman of the Year" ending and the investigate option never popped up. When I made Dave Grovel after he tried to apologize for the fight we got into, that changed everything and I got this ending. So I think that's the key here. Just don't romance Scorpion and make Dave grovel, although I don't think he'll feel the need to apologize if you don't fight him so, again, you need to be mean to him or just decide to fight him on your own.
Either way this is the trickiest achievement to get in my honest opinion. Most of the other endings don't require THAT much effort. You can get them even if you're not super perfect. But this one, it seems if you don't assert dominance over Dave when you get the chance, you can't get the option to investigate the computer and betray Scorpion.
