How to unlock the Big Game Hunter achievement in Heroes Over Europe - Definitive Guide

The achievement description says "every enemy plane type" but not too sure how technical they are getting because it popped for me before I killed the Me 262 A2 Ace (The last plane in the game), which I would think was a different "type" than the regular Me 262 A2. Since there wasn't any solution to this when I started going for it I decided that I would keep track of the planes that I Ace killed. There may be some extra and/or missing planes from my list but the fact remains that I unlocked the achievement by Ace killing the planes listed below. The planes are listed in order of appearance and which missions each are found just in case you miss their introductions. The list only mentions the planes that are marked as objective targets as the miscellenous planes that are flying around can be extremely difficult to target and in some cases it's impossible.

Me 109 E-4: Phoney War, Defense of the Realm, Fighter Superiority, Firestorm, Eagle Day, and Eye of the Storm.

Do 17z: Defense of the Realm, Empire's Heart, and Party Crashers.

Ju 88 A-4: Defense of the Realm

Me 110 C-4: Defense of the Realm, London Burning, Fighter Superiority, Firestorm, Empire's Heart, and Eye of the Storm.

Ju 87B Stuka: Defense of the Realm, Fighter Superiority, Empire's Heart, and Operation Cerberus.

He 111 H-16: London Burning, Eagle Day, Empire's Heart, Firestorm, and Party Crashers.

Me 109 E-4 (Boss: Hans Werner): Empire's Heart

Me 109 G-6: Party Crashers, The Butcher's Birds, Eye of the Storm, and Battle of the Bulge.

Fw 190 F-8: Party Crashers, Eye of the Storm, Battle of the Bulge, and Black Heart.

Fw 190 A-8: Party Crashers, The Butcher's Birds, and Operation Jericho.

There are 12 different planes to Ace Kill for this trophy. Planes are listed by order of appearance. The missions in which those planes appear are listed in chronological order. This list only conveys planes that appear as mission objectives and can be easily identified by pressing . After targeting a plane, the model will be displayed in the bottom right corner. Planes such as Me 109s, Me 110s, and FW 190s occasionally appear in additional missions as non-objective, supporting aircraft.

Unfortunately, there is no way to check your progress towards this trophy in-game. I recommend you copy the list below and cross planes off as you Ace Kill them.

Note: Bosses' Ace model planes are no different than their common counterparts in regards to this trophy. However, you may be required to Ace Kill them to complete bonus objectives or earn a different trophy.

This is an easy achievement, although it can drive some people mad. Simply ‘Ace Kill’ all types of enemy planes. As long as you Ace kill a few times each level, and Ace Kill all the Bosses, you will get the achievement. The most commonly missed plane is the German B-17, the ‘Imposters’ on ‘The Butchers Birds’ mission. See Ace Killer for more details on ‘Ace Killing’.
