How to unlock the Cream of the Crop achievement in Hi-Fi RUSH - Definitive Guide

Fairly simple in terms of aim - beat the second end-of-level boss, Rekka.

I've been playing on normal difficulty and she wasn't too challenging. Make good use of Peppermint (right trigger) to hammer at her when you need to jump out of her reach, and watch when she grabs the pipes out of the walls. This is probably when Rekka is at her most dangerous.

Don't attack her when she's holding the electric cables or you'll get a (literal) shock.

Anyone having issues with these story achievements not unlocking? I’m on track 7 now and all other achievements are fine but the story levels just won’t pop

Story-related, cannot miss.

You’ll get this achievement for beating chapter 2. Chapter 2 involves you heading through Production to take on Rekka and grab some information from the inside. It’s 10 fights long, and concludes when you beat Rekka, the 10th fight.
