How to unlock the First Bounty Down achievement in High On Life - Definitive Guide

Story related which can't be missed. 9-Torg is found at the very end of the Slums area.

Simply deal damage to her, avoiding her shots until she dives into the toxic water. This will raise the water level and you'll need to use Knifey's tether ability cn_LB to keep yourself above the water, until the level drops again. Rinse and repeat until you get her down to very low health. Near death she'll do one last ditched effort to kill you with a laser blast. I advise using the tether ability again to keep yourself high and away from line of sight. Once finished hit her with a few more shots to defeat her.

Finding it difficult to hit and not be hit and finding the tether really awkward to stay high. Urgh I hope it's not another game with unbalanced overly difficult bosses.

Died several times and decided to shut it off. I might turn difficulty down and try again but the game hasn’t really gripped me. Oh well.

"Are 90% of these achievements missable, seems like it." (MrWhite2U) - There's only 7 missables (according to the following article) out of 32, and this achievement isn't one of them. That's 21.875%, FYI compute.
What is missable in High on Life?

After playing just past this boss, decided to look at the cheevos and read the comments. For anyone finding the game difficult, just play on Story Mode. That's what I have done. So far the regular enemies are simple and this boss wasn't hard but still remained as a fun challenge that wasn't frustrating nor stressful at all. Having a lot of fun with this one!
