How to unlock the Defection Deterred achievement in HITMAN 2 - Definitive Guide

Available in The Final Test (Tutorial) Mission.

From the start, go to the right, jump over two fences and turn off the generator. Subdue the inspecting guard, take the disguise and dump the body. Go inside the base to find the projector slides on the table inside the reception area. Take them upstairs, and go put them on the projector, and then wait outside on the balcony. The KGB Colonel will eventually get the target and bring them to the projector. While they are talking, sneak to the power console on wall nearby and turn it off, then go and hide behind the crate. They will talk, Jasper will begin repairing the projector and the KGB Colonel will turn the power on, electrocuting him and unlocking this.

One comment on this, there is a slight sync issue with this achievement, and I would ideally wait until Jasper is not in the room (ideally his office) and the colonel is in the room (ideally leaning on the desk).

I had an issue with syncing where Jasper came into the room after I did the slides but the colonel hadn't synced for the event properly. Jasper only seems to interact with it once.

There's a guard standing near the power console. I distracted him with a coin, dropped my gun to get this achievement at the same time:

Here's my Silent Assassin run of The Final Test, with the KGB Colonel eliminating Jasper Knight.

Target: Jasper Knight

Starting Equipment: None but pick up the crow bar on the boxes to the right after starting.

You can unlock this achievement by following the video guide below, which shows how to infiltrate the base and get the KGB Colonel to electrocute Jasper Knight while also completing the "A Slide Mistake" challenge.
Following this guide will also unlock the following achievements for you if you don't have them yet:

We take the slides on the 1st floor, insert them into the projector, inform the lieutenant colonel and he and Knight will go to look at them.
After Knight begins to look at the slides, you need to turn off the projector.
Seeing that Knight is trying to fix it, the lieutenant colonel will go to turn it on and the problem will be solved.
But keep in mind that they must be in the same room at the same time.
