How to unlock the Honorary Member achievement in HITMAN 2 - Definitive Guide
The TA Walkthrough is fantastic, but I when I was going so the SASO on Master difficulty, I kept getting caught using the "Martinoz" method. After doing the "Sniper" method on Master difficulty from the Chapel [which is super easy], I was still about halfway between Mastery Level 19 and 20.
In stead of torturing myself with the Martinoz method again, I took a look at the Challenge list to see if there was anything easy that I could boost my Mastery level with, and there are several very easy ones. I opted for the "I Challenge Thee To A Duel" Challenge, which is worth a whopping 4000XP [and will easily get you from level 19 to 20 if that's where your at] and like most challenges it can be done on Casual. This challenge involves knocking out 10 guards with a fish.
I started at the Chapel and brought the fish as my load-out. There are a couple guards when you head down the stairs and then after one of them screams, several more guards will start pouring in. I recommend disguising yourself as one of these two guards. If you need to, you can hide upstairs for a minute so that you can save your progress, before continuing onward with the fish-knockouts. Remember to pick up the fish after every knockout.
As soon as I earned the challenge I opted to Replan the mission and the achievement popped. That is, I didn't have to complete the level.
I didn't have to complete any other challenges to get to level 20, but there are several "non-target" related challenges you can go for that are worth quite a bit of XP - and again, they can all be made easier by doing them on Casual difficulty. I find the non-target related challenges much easier to do quickly, but if you'd rather do the "target-related" challenges for killing the Washington sisters in a variety of ways, you can do that too.
TL;DR: The Martinoz method on Master Difficulty is great, but can be annoying as there are many places you can be spotted. If you're stuck, and all you have left for this DLC is hitting Mastery Level 20, then take a look at the challenges and see if there is anything easy that you haven't done yet. Knocking Out 10 guards with the fish is likely something you haven't done playing "naturally" and is worth 4,000 XP.
