How to unlock the Sapienza Escalated achievement in HITMAN 2 - Definitive Guide
The Szilassi Darkness
Want the easiest escalation you can play? Choose this. You can beat each escalation in a minute or so and dit doesn't get more challenging like others.
Start in ICA Safehouse (smuggle a sniper, I went with silenced one). Grab the sniper from the middle room and go outside onto the roof. Snipe the target. Go down the pipe and to the boats to exit.
Guess what!? That's it. Do this 4 more times. You will have a second target which is even easier to snipe. It doesn't get any harder.
Here is escalation 5. Snipe both targets in the head and escape via the boats. You have 30 seconds between snipes on this, but it'd easy.
Don't worry about mines and poisoning people. This is a newer escalation and the one you can easily complete without any trouble. All that is required is unlocking the starting location which you'll have already done if you level up in the mission which I know you did for level 20 achievement or else why would you be here. :)

I don't know how to thumbs up your post ahah !
Anyway. Thank you so much buddy. It's clearly the easiest escalation in the game.

Wow. Why even bother including a mission like this? The ICA Training facility missions are harder than this. Great guide, glad it's here to point achievement hunters in the right direction, but the mission itself... wow.

I was hoping that The Sigma Illusion would be available for Hitman 2's Sapienza Escalations so that I could re-use the method I posted in the same achievement for Hitman. Unfortunately, the only available Escalation for Sapienza in Hitman 2 is The Gladwyn Simulacrum.
This escalation isn't very difficult, but Levels 4 and 5 have some conditions that would definitely make things very tricky.
Basically, the mission requires you to kill:
- a gardener at the golf course
- the lone guard who patrols just outside the room where you play Caruso's VHS tape
- the golf coach
If you've played Sapienza a few times, you should know the locations of these targets - they're pretty close to each other.
In Level 1, you need to kill the gardener (any disguise, any method)
In Level 2, you need to kill the gardener and the lone guard (any disguise, any method)
In Level 3, you need to kill all three targets (any disguise, any method)
In Level 4, you need to kill all three targets, and there's a 30-second timer after each kill. You need to make the next kill within 30 seconds. The timer stops only after all targets are eliminated. You fail the mission if the timer runs down to zero.
In Level 5, all Level 4 conditions apply, and there are now mines everywhere (yes, it's like, everywhere). Step on one, and you'll die.
If you simply want to get the achievement without worrying about scores, here's a text guide of how I did it:
- Start at the golf course with a vial of deadly poison in your inventory.
- There are mines all over the place, so use instinct to check where they are, and don't ever step on one.
- The gardener is right beside you. Ignore him for now, and go to the glass where the golf coach would drink from. Administer the poison.
- Go back to the gardener's location, and wait.
- Soon, the coach will drink from the glass, and die. At just about the same time, the gardener will walk to the railings near you for a quick push down the cliff. That's two quick kills at almost the same time.
- You've 30 seconds, Quickly run (avoid mines!) to Francesa's room, and wait by the door where the lone guard will walk it.
- Aim your pistol at the door. Once he opens the door, shoot him.
- Run like mad (avoid mines!) to the kitchen, and escape via the ICA Safehouse (there's a mine even on the rooftop, so be careful!).
- Once you reach the main street, there are no more mines. Run to the car to escape.
You won't get a high score, but you can unlock the achievement.
Alternate method by AkaiERA that I've tested:
- Spawn at the Sapienza Ruins with a Sniper Rifle.
- Climb the tower, knock out the guard on the top.
- Avoiding the mine at the top of the tower in the last Escalation stage.
- Retrieving the rifle, and wait for the target guard to walk in front of the VHS room.
- Using the slow motion feature of the rifle to eliminate everyone.
- Escaping via speedboat where you spawn.
Meanwhile, here's a video from MrFreeze2244, who shows the "correct" way of doing this (there's a mine disarm device that negates all the mines!):
Have fun!

The sniper strategy worked perfectly for me, although I have no idea what you mean by the slow motion feature of the sniper rifle. As for the golf coach, I never saw him take a drink from anywhere! You may want to elaborate on that...

Sorry I missed your comment frome arlier.
If you have a good sniper rifle, gently squeezing RT will slow time.
The golf coach takes a drink from a table near the outside of Francesa's room, closer to the cliff side.
