You will discover the Tree Top II area shortly after you have lit up the glyphs and collected all the butterflies in the underground area, and learned the ability to smash (yay) from the now HUGE dude, . Go back into the underground area, and head up to the top right and follow the path to enter this area and unlock this.

Oddly, I received this achievement when I used the "Select Chapter" button to go directly to this area - despite the fact that I had not yet visited this area via the story.
