As the title implies this is effectively the 100% completion achievement. Kinda.

Needed for completion includes:
9 Tools - Focus potion, Thunderbrew potion, Chinese chomping cabbage, Erudus potion, Invisibility potion, Mandrake, Maxima potion, Venomous Tentacula and Wiggenweld Potion.

These will appear in your collection menu when you find them in game or purchase them from a merchant but for them to count towards your completion you must own the recipe or Seeds for these items which are purchased respectively from J.Pippin's potions and Dogweed and Deathcap in Hogsmeade. You'll know you own them when you have a little tick in the bottom left corner of the icon.

150 Revelio pages
Only pages that you must use revelio to reveal count towards this collection, Moth mirrors, flying pages, dragon braziers etc. are not needed for this but I recommend grabbing the ones you see along the way as it will help top off your Field guide challenge as there are only 90 Revelio pages in Hogwarts. And 30 in Hogsmeade. I will show all pages and named locations so you can narrow down the ones you're missing.

67 Enemies
These, for the most, will be encountered during normal play.. none are missable. Generic enemies and named enemies both count. If you're missing any zoom out on the map and navigate throughout each region checking on the top right while hovering over a region which areas you have missed an 'Infamous foe' travel to this area, mount your broom then use Revelio, check any Skull you see as this indicates there is an infamous foe in these areas whether it was defeated or not and cycle through until you find any you are missing.

88/78? Appearances
These are unlocked via your Challenges and Quests.. Complete all of both and you will have these completed. 2 outfits are linked to exploration, I believe via the Battle arenas. Additional content pieces I'm uncertain but I would assume the 10 dlc outfit pieces are not necessary to complete this collection.

13 Beasts
Diricawl, Fwooper, Purple toad, Graphorn, Hippogriff, Jabberknoll, Kneazle, Mooncalf, Niffler, Phoenix, Puffskein, Thestrel and Unicorn.
These can be found throughout the Highlands in dens, some will be found during either the story or side/relationship quests. Whatever you're still missing will be very easy to track down via the map.

13 Brooms
4 Brooms will be related to your challenge to Pop balloons spread throughout the Highlands. I believe 5 Brooms come from Sprintwiches In Hogsmeade. The other 4 are spread throughout the Highlands.
Leopold Babcocke - Northfield Big
Arn - Hogwarts valley
Priya Treadwell - South sea Bog
Rohan Prakash - Cragcroftshire

75 Traits
Traits are found in the chest(s) inside bandit camps, very easy to find using Revelio while on your broom. Keep this in mind while doing your merlin trails and it will be done passively.

42 Wand Handles
Wand handles are found in collection chests in Hogsmeade, Hogwarts and the Highlands. Collection chests are gold and are generally smaller then normal chests, they also have a map icon when you get close. You must loot all collection chests in all areas for this collection as some will contain Spellcrafts which are also needed for a seperate collection too.

16 Ingredients
This should again come passively if you're looting Dead enemies and grabbing any plants you see while in the move. None are particularly obscure and can be purchased from merchants should you miss any.

Conjurations
This one was my least favourite by far. You must purchase all blueprints from Tomes and scrolls which can get expensive. Many others are linked to quests and challenges so they come passively doing other collections. Exploration Spellcrafts are found again in collection chests but not all of them. Once you get far enough into your story you will unlock 4 Vivariums for your animals and each has 3 collection chests spread around. Any remaining Conjurations you need will be found via following butterflies that are spread throughout the Highlands.
Edit: Butterflies are supposedly static and a vague map is made. Purely for ease of reading I'll add it here but credit for finding it goes to RiskyWhy (guide below) and Jordoncoops' post via Reddit for creating it

One butterfly is unmarked to the right of Hogsmeade on your map in Hogsmeade Valley.

Challenges/Side quests
I don't believe these relate to this achievement directly but due to collection rewards being received from completing some of these challenges You will have to complete most of these to 100% either way. From my quest list there are a total of 56 side quests that are very easy to locate via Revelio on the broom, most of which are in towns or marked very clearly. One potential bug I found was when I hit 98% Good Samaritan with zero quests to be found after several rotations of the map. After wasting several hours I figured out Sacking Selwyn did not enter my quest journal and was still waiting to be turned in. I'm unsure if this is because I completed the objective before accepting the quest or another reason but once I spoke to Hyacinth Oliver at Cragcroft It gave me the achievement.

Pretty sure this is highly missable. I'm trying to collect chests and one of them seems to be only obtainable during a main quest mission which I have already completed. Coastal Mine has two and I'm missing one. I reached a point in the mine where I can longer progress forward and pretty sure the chest is beyond that point.

Are you sure you've completed all bandit camps? Some didn't appear for me on the map or using Revelio until I was close enough to breath seductively down a Goblins neck.

Definitely still missing some bandit camps and such. I'll have to go back to coastal mine and look again. I spent about an hour using revelio all over that place up to the dead end though so idk

Thanks for this. Some things to note, I didn't even know you could use revelio on the broom to easily find all the merlin trials you're missing until I was almost done with them. You can also completely zoom out of the map to see how much stuff you have left to collect in each area. The butterflies are static and I suggest looking at the map provided by the other guide, it was very helpful for my last one.

Anyone have a clue where the crest conjurations are from? I have 5 missing but they must get given as a group as in the conjugation collection log it’s the only one missing for me

I’ve literally done all quests opened all chests on map, this is this only thing i’m needing to get the achievement cant find anything online about it.

Risky, I would assume it would have to be a chest from the room of requirement Vivariums or a butterfly that isn't marked or you've missed since it's just one you're missing and all chests on the maps are obtained.

Butterflies are bugged for me too. The ones who should reward the „Arm Chair“ Conjuration either don‘t spawn for me, or I did it, without remembering nor getting the reward.

Had the same glitch on my final quest, talked to Hyacinth Oliver at Cragcroft It gave me the sidequest achievement aswell. Only missing 1 thing in collections and it is an appearance... says it is additional content so I'm assuming the collectors edition kelpie cloak, ach sitting at 99% and will not pop.

I don't own the Kelpie cape as I got the digital deluxe edition. Only thing I can imagine being the issue if the additional content isn't counted and it's not bugged is whether you have all tool blueprints? Would just recommend going through your collections Double checking they're ticked on the bottom left corner. Mine were marked as collected but not actually counted until I bought the blueprint.

It's obtainable on Xbox. To my knowledge Playstation seems to have trouble tracking player progression towards collectibles and player level, steam too I assume but they're supposedly working on a patch to retroactively fix it.

I‘m wiser now. I have no idea why they don‘t show up at my gfs save, however using the following video, which is a pretty good guide for the butterflies, I was able to track them all down. The Conjunctions are random so don‘t check for the name in their chapters, but the location.

ZAMORAK13, the 4 places in the room of requirement, probably what you mean by vivarium, I've forgotten what they're called.

I got alot of stone wall and stairs and stuff from those areas, but they're not called stone walls, they're made of stone but they're just called "Lower Wall" as an example

@Onetyrantking one of those 88 appearances is the Outfit which comes with the Collector's Edition, this one and the outfit from the Deluxe Edition are not needed for the achievement.

You can see how to get the missing Conjuration when you click on the category. If it says exploration it‘s either Collection Chest, Vivariums ora butterflies. If you have every Collection chest. Double check the Vivariums and then every butterfly location.

@Leator thanks brother I figured most of that stuff out, however I am stuck on one conjuring piece. I'm at 139 out 140 and piece of furniture I'm missing are the cabinets that's all. I don't know where to get the cabinets? I redid the butterfly thing 100% for sure I literally 100% of all other aspects of the game so I don't know where to get the cabinets

I'm missing cabinets. YouTube videos that I watched have random chest each time for example the one I'm missing some players have found it in feldcroft others have found it in hogsmeade. I really don't want to have to put another 60 hours in a new save it was such a grind the first time. Ugh. Hopefully it's a bug and they fix it soon. The patch today unfortunately didn't fix it for the players it's glitched for.

Collection chests are random got all of them yesterday, the annoying thing is that butterflies are not listed on region so no way of telling if you have collected or not, had to go through each one yesterday, found I had missed one which was final piece I was missing.

I deleted my previous comment as I discovered what was the issue. Hogwarts has a few closed off areas within it, namely the repulso puzzle rooms and potentially some others that have collection chests but they are not included in the hogwarts map progress tracker. So unless you actually focus on the individual areas you might be fooled into thinking you have every chest available like I was.

I know this update coming to PS5 is supposed to fix their collection issue but I wonder if this update will fix the Xbox version because I've already put over 70 hours in this game and I don't want to redo everything

@Xaturini i found the issue. Even though I collected chomping cabbage and venomous tentacula and they showed up in my collections, I never owned the seed. Go into your collection menu and see if you have a little tick next to all tools.

Got this at 131/140.
What did I do:
- completed all quests and challenges;
- collected all revelio pages (hogwarts and open world);
- collected all numbered collectable chests (hogwarts and open world);
- collected all butterflies;
- collected 3 vivarium chests;
So, there are 3x3=9 vivarium chests left uncollected :)

Hey everyone, I was stuck at 139/140 for hours.. almost gave up. The last butterfly chest I needed was #15. I went to the location multiple times and didn’t see it. However, after 4-5 times double checking, it appeared. If you’re having the same issue, try fast traveling near the locations and checking multiple times. Also waiting for day and night might be another workaround.

@eglzrock If it's the mine I'm thinking of there was one just to the right if you face the second movable platform that's heading towards the dead end. You climb some walls and open a hatch around the corner. The second one is while you're at the dead end by the elevator head out the door you came in and to the right, there's a cart which you can ride to where the second chest is.

I'm missing cat plates and mooncalf statue. You can check what you are missing by going to room of requirement and looking at the locked conjurations. I believe it is glitched for me as the mooncalf statue comes from butterflies but they are not there for me. I do not know where the cat plates come from.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that's seeing I'm missing field guides in Hogwarts. There is one for sure missing from the Bell Tower for me. I haven't progressed enough in the story to get all of them in the Grand Staircase, so I'm not sure if any of those are missing. But, I'm well on my way for everything else.

The biggest help for me on this one was the map trackers. Zooming out as far as you can on the world map breaks it up into regions that, when hovered over, will show an "xx/xx" formated table of collectables. Inside Hogwarts, you just have to open one of the areas listed on the left to see what your missing in that section.

The world map collectables you get from a chest are random but the location of every chest is not. Check the map to see where your missing a chest, find a guide to chests in that area, and snap them up. Outside of the chests, you just need to complete every side quest, relationship quest, challenges, and find butterflies (whos locations are also static in the world. I don't think they are listed on the map but just find a guide to each location, go to every one listed).

As for the revelio pages, they are obviously static. Knowing that, all you have to do is find a full list of them and cross reference that with your collection. You'll know exactly what your missing and exactly where to find it.

I am missing 1 & 2 rule placards, standing clock, and the tufted and pouf footstool. My maps say I have all collection chests found. I have gone through and found 3 chests in each vivarium. And I followed the butterfly map. Have all 15. At 99% complete.

I have done every single thing except for all the butterflies. Done a few then focused on other stuff. Now when i wanna do the rest i cant see a single butterfly symbol on map anymore. They are just gone. I tried following a guide and going places where they are supposed to be, But nothing shows up, no butterflies no treasure no symbol. Anyone else have this issue? Spent over 60 hours in game dont really wanna do the collection all over again in a new save file…

I've gone through the walkthrough of the Bell Tower twice and still can't find the missing page. Would it be in another area to count?

That only applies if the chest never spawned, this happened to me on #13 and i was able to get it to spawn again however i never got an item which is the most common report in the linked bug thread.

Great guide, I’m stuck at 11/12 infamous foes, quite literally the last thing I need for my collections. However I think it’s the riparian troll in the dale family tomb, I know I’ve beaten him, have 67/67 enemies in collections. I think it might be bugged. Any ideas?

Evil Genius - There is an infamous enemy in the bottom of The Coastal Mine that was the one I was missing. Its a Mission Location but the area with the enemy is not anywhere you went for the Quest.

Yea I am also at 139/140 and it's a glitch. It happens when you do a different butterfly for the quest and turn it in which completely removes the butterfly that was supposed to be for the quest.

If you are missing conjurations and have every area complete.
There are 3 in each vivarium.
Butterflies are not counted on the highland map area.

I’m at 137/140 conjurations I have everything 100% all chests in all regions all pages etc yes I have the chests in the Vivariums and I am pretty sure I have got all butterflies as I have been riding around the map for hours without seeing one. If anyone has any info lmk please, I know the game is buggy so hopefully it just gets fixed

I think this has glitched on me. I have 3 less chests than things I need (wand handles, conjurations and traits). I have 62 combined, but only 59 chests remaining between open world and Hogwarts (Hogsmeade counts for open world; Depulso rooms for Hogwarts). I have all 15 butterfly chests, and all 12 vivarium chests. Will see through the remainder I have left and hope I get lucky, but 90% chance this has bugged out on me. Earlier saves have a similar discrepancy, sadly. Great game, but a shame a game with so many collectibles has so many issues with collectible tracking.

For everyone with 139/140 conjurations, or 74/75 traits. Both are avoidable with foresight, and I got very lucky in both instances personally, but sadly nothing you can do in either case until a patch if you're affected.

Both have active bug reports on the official Hogwarts Legacy bug page.

139/140 Conjurations - This glitch occurs because the butterfly chest tied to "Follow the Butterflies" is missable (verified on Reddit). If you trigger the butterflies but don't complete the quest and complete another of the 14 butterfly chests elsewhere, you'll be prompted to go back to the quest giver despite not completing the "intended" butterfly chest. DO NOT HAND THIS QUEST IN YET. If you complete it, the "intended" butterflies for that side quest become permanently unobtainable! If you've made this mistake but HAVEN'T turned in the quest yet, you should still be able to find the "intended" butterflies for that side quest, which from memory is by the forbidden forest. I was lucky, and happened to do this side quest as intended hours before I mopped up the remaining 14.

74/75 Traits - This glitch occurs when players just aren't credited with a trait when completing a bandit camp. I strongly recommend that when you loot bandit camp chests and/or turn in challenges, you triple check your collections page increases +1 for the collectible type. Again, nothing you can do if you've collected them all and are 1 short, sadly.

It's also worth noting that virtually everyone will get "stuck" at 33/34 field pages for Hogwarts > The Bell Tower. This shouldn't matter, as the one that is bugged is an Accio page by the greenhouse/gardens. Thankfully, it's the one collectible type where you don't need to collect every one (Revelio you do; field pages you don't).

I found this image helpful when looking for the butterflies, go to the chest location as well as the butterfly spawn point incase you've accidentally triggered them.

139/140 Known Bugs

1) Be careful of the 'Follow the Butterfies' side quest. Ensure you follow this quest and collect the first chest before collecting any other butterfly chest or the first one may disappear. There is no known fix for this at the moment.

2) It's been reported that there is a fan found workaround for a potentially bugged Vivarium chest.
- Head to the Room of Requirement and reload your last auto save.
- Talk to Deek and change the room's ambience to anything else.
- Head to each of the 4 Vivariums and check all 3 chest locations in each.
- Some players are reporting that a previously opened chest has respawned and can be opened again, completing your conjuration collection.

I hope this helps someone but unfortunately it didn't work for me 😔

Known bug, if you're missing one furniture in the collection (for me its the unicorn statue) and you have all chests collected and no flowers at the butterfly end point then it's bugged and we're currently awaiting a fix, one of the chests sometimes doesn't gives a reward. If you're missing a building conjuration, then theres a way in the comments on that bug thread to try and get the chest to respawn and give you the reward again in the vivarium

I got everything apart from 1 wand (regal pink). This might be the reward you get from a battle arena. 1 of the arenas doesnt have a 'tick' next to it on the map once you completed the arena. So don't know if it registers you getting a reward. Apparently both battle arenas reward you with a wand.

Seen others online mention how they also missing items to unlock achievement. Hopefully they'll patch this soon (I'm hoping by May 5th). If its not the wand thing then I don't know what else to do.

My world map says all collection chests are gotten, I've got all butterflies and I got the chests in room of requirement, and hogsmede and hogwarts have gotten all chests.

At the moment, at least for me in the X series, this achievement is buggy, I already have all the collectibles, chests, butterflies, etc. The spells part is not registered in the game, no matter how much I have taken them, it continues to mark 136, from there it does not advance... we just have to wait for the next update

Great guide.. all I’ll add is that the achievement popped early for me.. I still needed 2 Conjurations, and then 1 Appearance and 1 Trait, both of which are gained in challenges.. I’m not complaining through, it was a bit of a grind getting them all..

BTW, I was finding the Vivarium’s Conjurations when on finding the last one, it popped.. the last 2 are on butterfly chases..

Great guide, I was able to unlock this achievement. I was missing 14 conjunctions and 12 of them were hidden in the Vivarium's ( never knew they were there). Interestingly enough, the achievement popped up even though the collections were not 100% complete. I had 78/80 appearances and 136/140 conjunctions, the remaining were fully completed.

As of now, I have 139/140 conjunctions. After I found the 12 chests in the Vivarium's, the remaining 2 must have been a butterfly. I followed the guide and found 1 I was missing. The last one must be a butterfly as well, but I couldn't find it. Also, when I bought this game, it had some pre-order bonuses. I'm wondering if that artificially bumped up the counter for this achievement allowing me to unlock it even though I'm missing 1 conjuring from the exploring category. Maybe there will be an update which will include the number of butterflies on the map to help narrow it down.

I got this achievement despite missing 2 traits and conjurations each. I couldn't even find one in Marunweem Lake, and I also had one left in Clagmar Coast but I know where it is. The other two I assume are butterflies, which aren't listed on the map for some reason. It would've been three but raiding a bandit camp in Clagmar Coast led to one.

I got this achievement after I completed EVERYTHING, except the last the Conjuration. So I had 137/140. I left the 3 vivarium last so I only did 3 out of 4 vivarium (9/12).
But I am pretty sure if you dont follow a guide you'll miss a few butterfly location, like I did.
This butterflies give you conjurations just like tomb chests. Other chest in the open world never give conjurations!

Here are some things I add like to add :
1. Don't forget about the butterfly trails as they have needed conjugations at te end thay are untracked.
2. Zoom out to see what your missing in a certain area.
3. Don't worry if your Great Hall field guide pages are stuck at 23/24, this is a glitch that isn't needed for the achievement.
4. Mine popped despite missing 3 clothing items and 1 conjuration.
5. Make sure to buy everything from Tomes and Scrolls.
6. There are 3 conjurations in each vivarium (12 total).
7. You don't need to do anything with the conjurations after you've unlocked them.
8. Go to sellers around the world (the coin icon on the mini map) to buy all of the brooms.

If you are missing conjurations and have every area complete.
There are 3 in each vivarium.
Butterflies are not counted on the highland map area.

I was having trouble with the last 7 chests not showing loot history on screen in the upper right corner, but entries were added on my collections screen. If in doubt, save the game right before you open it. Also, I double checked, and yes, vivariums in the room of requirement have 3 chests apiece. this butterfly video helped me finish up as well:

Since you need every collectors chest / Butterfly / Banditcamps and Vivarium it's easy to miss one. I myself have been stuck on 139/140 conjurings and found this nice program online.

The program checks your savegame to see what your missing and shows that nicely.

This is basically the Hogwarts Legacy 100% achievement, because nearly everything in the game rewards you with something that will register in the “Collection.”

The Collection is basically your Field Guide’s progress page, tracking and showing everything you’ve done in Hogwarts Legacy. Like a glitchy trophy, I had 149/150 chests and was missing 3 brooms.

I got upset about them because of the chests and started flying through the list of butterflies, thinking that I missed one of them (the method above with changing the lighting did not help). As a result, on the way between the butterflies, I bought 1 broom from a merchant in the field and the trophy jingled, but the menu still had 149 chests and 2 missing brooms.
