How to unlock the Fighting fire with fire achievement in Homefront: The Revolution - Definitive Guide

This can be done on the apc cars (machine gun on top), wolverines (smaller tanks) and the seeker drones you see flying about. (the goliath just gets stunned)
Ive only been hacking the seeker drones as I'm stuck in a red zone and it seems to only count when it feels like doing so but hopefully this solution will help others out so start working on this as soon as you get the hacking tool!

*Have 4 hack tools before going into the mission Zero Hour*

This is the best part of the game to farm this. As soon as you enter this checkpoint, you simply need to walk into the blue container and throw your hack tool at the one APC car to make it friendly. It will proceed to shoot most enemies on the field. When the next wave of enemies spawn in and start moving toward you, throw another. After these two waves, restart the checkpoint and repeat until the game eventually tracks 100. This might be a bit buggy as the achievement tracker has a hard time actually tracking it so it might be 120+ or so.

If anyone was wondering just how buggy this achievement really is my percentage over the last 5 reloaded checkpoints is: 14%, 12%, 20%, 7%, & 6% in that order. Ignoring the fact that the APC has killed probably close to 50-60 enemies that just didn't count in that time, this is one of the most broken achievements I have ever tried to get.

This method no longer works. At least for me, I had the same trouble as the commenter above me. Got the tracker to go as high as 11% but would always reset back to 1% when I started getting kills after the checkpoint restart. There is plenty of time to get this naturally over the course of the game. Just make sure to always keep your hack kits stocked and toss them at these APCs or the mini-tank Wolverine drones.

I found it easiest to load up the multiplayer map "A Las Barricadas" on Easy, with as many hack tools as possible.

Head to the first objective point, and use the broken down white van to climb on the roof. Kill the KPA until you're instructed to retreat. Stay on the roof and trigger the next wave of enemies. A Wolverine will show up, hack it and get kills.

Keep going to rescue the Eagles, and hack the big vehicle and get a few more kills. Kill the remaining KPA and the next wave will bring another Wolverine, hack it and finish off the rest of the KPA.

Head to the last checkpoint and another 2 big vehicles will be there. Get the kills, and thethen finish or die and repeat.

In order to get this trophy, you will need to hack armoured cars, wolverines or flying seekers to make them kill 100 enemies.

This also counts in co-op mode. Make sure to always have hacking tools and use them when you see armoured cars or wolverines. It's really useful and you will not have to grind the trophy if you do it through your playthrough.

Here you need to throw a “Hack Grenade” at any vehicle, be it a jeep with a machine gun, or a goliath!

I advise you to start completing this trophy from the very beginning of the game, when you are given the appropriate spv
Even on the highest difficulty, armored vehicles cannot be said to appear on the map very often, and if you also clear half of the area, then good luck, run as much as you like, the convoys will not spawn
In the old city it will be possible to farm more, there are more spacious locations and all kinds of machines appear more and more often
But anyway, 100pcs feels like a lot, I only knocked it out towards the very end of the game
