Homefront: The Revolution

Ok I'm pretty sure this one is not missable, when you go down to the resistance tunnel and get your first gun your going to have to hit on the d pad to convert the weapon. I converted it to an SMG.

So whatever choice you have to convert to the achievement will unlock.

This can be done at any point in the game; however, you can convert your pistol into an SMG at the very start. After Cook gives you a gun, simply use three upgrade points, which you are given at the start, to purchase the SMG upgrade. Then convert your pistol into an SMG.
