How to unlock the Money Bags achievement in Homestead Arcana - Definitive Guide

Silver takes up physical space in your inventory like most of the other items in the game. 20,000 silver will completely fill 2 storage chests and you'll need all the inventory upgrades that Abraham sells (Tincture of Strength) before you'll be able to hold it all. I believe he sells 3 of those upgrades for 750, 1200, and 1500 silver respectively. I recommend also buying the Greater Grill and Master Grill upgrades (750 silver each) to speed up the grind, but your mileage may vary. I built 2 Master Grills and 1 Basic Cauldron in my work area. Try not to spend silver on anything else until you get this achievement, it takes awhile.

As far as actually earning silver, I focused on Farmer's Stew and Ripple Potions (sell for 20 silver each). My garden included 2 eggplant plants, 3 tomato plants, 3 pepper plants, and 3 corn plants. Farmer's Stew requires 1 Eggplant Stew and 2 Roasted Peppers. Eggplant Stew requires 1 Eggplant and 2 Roasted Tomatoes. Ripple Potions require 2 silver and 1 corn. Note that while not related to this particular achievement, I also recommend adding as many cotton and hemp plants to your garden as possible, you will need a lot of silk and linen to craft every item.

My basic in-game day schedule was: wake-up at 6am, gather all items from cauldron and grills, sell Farmer's Stew and Ripple Potions to Abraham (and check to see if he has milk, this was a very limited resource but is unrelated to this particular achievement), place all but one stack of silver into the storage chests reserved for them, harvest all plants in my garden, water any plants that no longer had the boost, cook roasted tomatoes and roasted peppers, brew Ripple Potions, gather roasted vegetables from grills, and then cook as many Eggplant Stews and Farmer's Stews as possible (1 minute per Stew). Usually, this took awhile, so sometimes the corn/tomato/pepper plants were ready to harvest again. I then worked on some crafting for another achievement until the in-game time was 19:00, when you can sleep in your bed. Then the schedule repeats.

With this method I earned around 800 silver each day and I felt it was a very stable loop. You could gather more and cook more, but I didn't feel like I had time before it was time to sleep. I needed silk and milk from Abraham for other achievements, so I prioritized sleeping over working to get more visits in the same amount of real-life time:
Homestead ArcanaYou Can't Be Too PreparedThe You Can't Be Too Prepared achievement in Homestead Arcana worth 100 pointsMake one of every craftable item in the game.

Once you have both storage chests filled, empty your inventory and move all the silver to your character. The achievement pops when the last spot is taken! After this, I recommend buying all of Abraham's upgrades and upgrading your house:
Homestead ArcanaFull HouseThe Full House achievement in Homestead Arcana worth 210 pointsFinish upgrading your house.

You can also make a manual save (turn off auto saves), buy out his regular stock for another achievement, and then reload the manual save:
Homestead ArcanaBig SpenderThe Big Spender achievement in Homestead Arcana worth 60 pointsBuy everything Abraham has to offer for the day.

You can also now mass brew potions for one of the side quests (potions cost money).

Thanks for the guide. Just wanted to add salsa seems to be a great money maker both early and late game as well. Sells for 51 each (honestly it feels like this should be the stack price), crafts pretty quickly and uses only tomato and corn without the grill upgrades.

Good point, I used that a lot for early game money. You spend a decent amount of time actively cooking it though since it goes so fast! I was really looking for something that was more AFK so I could go gather other things and craft items.

Nice and detailed! I just finished the game and I still cook plenty of salsa for Abraham to buy, around 20 bottles per day. But it does take almost 16 in-game hours to produce so I get your point on the stew.
By the way, does crafting every item in the game means every clothing and cooking recipe?
Thanks in advance

Working on that now and I am only missing a clothing item, so my guess is yes.

nice tips, but if you dont want to farm food for days and days -then finish the autumn harvest questline, you get like 7-10K in silver. Not sure how much cause it filled my inventory when i had about half full of items 👍👍

Will you have enough room in your inventory with the city scar compost in it? As the scar compost can't be removed from your inventory once you collect them.

No, you have to either place the compost in the scar or do this before you craft it. This takes every single inventory space

salsa was also very effective at completing this as i went throughout the game (not to mention it's a pretty useful item to be making anyways)

All you need is hemp, a mill, and the hemp silk recipe
selling hemp silks will give you easily around $150 each, but if you have stacks of 3 it should be $450 easy 20k also make sure you have 2 empty chests and also you have the bag upgrades on you if you don't this easy way to make money shall help you get them.
