- Ripple is learned at the Homestead
- Shadow is learned in Pearl Canyon
- Gray is learned in Petrified Forest
- Phantom is learned just before entering Ancient Swamp at the end of the ramp leading out of the Petrified Forest temple
- Ice Step is learned in Ancient Swamp
- Flare is learned in The City
