How to unlock the Look Mom, No Hands! achievement in Horizon Chase Turbo - Definitive Guide

This achievement mostly takes time (hence 'Endurance' title for event). Here you'll tackle every single track in the game, from every area, starting in California, and ending in Hawaii just as you did in the World Tour Mode.

I recommend selecting a car with a nice balance of handling, top speed, and fuel consumption. You'll get to upgrade along the way (every time you win the race at the last track at a location). For me it was the 'Macchina'/Ferrari 458, but the 'Infinity'/Dodge Viper is a viable choice as well.

The name of the game here is trying to finish in the top 5 as often as possible to survive and advance to the next race. Early on you should be able to pile on a lot of 1st place wins to build up your point totals and get a cushion separating you and your nearest rival (with respect to point totals). Be prepared to finish ahead of this car as often as possible. After 4 or 5 races, you'll note who appears to be your initial rival, and beating them consistently is more important than actually winning an individual race.

With most races, your main goal for the 1st lap is to get through the congestion of the slower racers in the 11 to 20 places. Shoot for finishing in 10th following the 1st lap (for the standard 3 lap races), then move your way up carefully over the next 2 laps. You may find that you cannot get into the top 3 until the latter half of the final lap. Don't panic, pick you spots and save a nitro to use near the end to pull ahead. Almost half of the time I found myself winning a race in the final couple turns.

As you progress through the tracks, you'll see a stratification in the points totals, with you at the top (hopefully), and your nearest rival sitting behind you. Do what you can to keep them at arm's length. Occasionally, you'll have a race where your rival takes a nose-dive, and it's important to maximize how many places you finish above them. Your rival may also change midway through the Endurance event, for the first 30 races or so, Walker-X was pushing me, but after that, Loveride starting leading the pack. This is good, as it allows you to keep building a cushion of points so you can finish 1st overall and get that gold for the achievement.

Two final points:
1) If you blow it on a race, or just want a redo (there are no 'restarts'), quickly shut down the game before you finish, and then open the game back up to restart. You can re-run the race you were just on.

2) DO NOT ever hit the 'Y' button/'Abort Endurance' on the race selection screen, this terminates the entire event. If you want to back out to finish more races later, just hit 'B' to back out to the title screen.

Oh man! I feel you on that. Happened to me once too. From there on out, I did my work in chunks of 12-15 races per day until I knocked it out. Good luck!

I was getting sleepy on race 60 and ran out of fuel.
Entered some kind of trance loop, totally lost view.
So I recommend taking a break when needed.
2,5-3 hours wasted.

I will use the point 1 solution next time I try it. Do it in like 4 sittings, thanks

This trophy will take you over 4 hours total to complete. You DO NOT have to complete it in one sitting. If you want to save your progress partway through, simply hold down the "Home" button and select "Close Application". The game will automatically have your progress saved at whatever track you were on. HOWEVER, DO NOT select "Abort Endurance" in the game menu. Doing so will erase ALL progress and you will have to start over.

As for car recommendation i used Macchina because of it's high handling and well-rounded stats.

For this achievement alone, you'll set 6-8 hours to complete, as you'll race ALL 111 (as of this writing) RACES in the game. There's two extra tracks in Brazil Cup.

As for which car you should use, go with one you are comfortable with, you can't change cars after starting the endurance. I chose Nano because of its very high handling and high fuel stats, even though it's one of the slowest cars in the game (I'm quite aggressive when overtaking, so with this car I hit the sides less).

Oh, and before I forget, if you don't have that much time (or want to take a break, you really should anyway), don't do it in one sitting. When you're done for the time being, wait until you see the next track and force quit the game (everyone's favourite Alt+F4). When you come back, you'll start where you left off.

You cannot replay the race, but if you are not satisfied with the result, you can always close the game and try again. The tournament will not be reset.

It is not necessary to always take 1st place in races. The main thing in the points table is to be in 1st place. For example, you have 1244 points, and your opponent in 2nd place has 1140 - which means you will win. That’s how it was for me by the end of the tournament 109

It's definitely easier if you play with two people. But if you close the game while losing, only 1 can continue

The easiest way to go is in the Gentleman's car, I think, because handling and nitro are the main indicators in this tournament. Use all nitro on the last lap in places where there are no sharp turns. Remember that you cannot finish lower than fifth, so if something goes wrong in the race, you can always close the game and the endurance tournament will not be reset
