How to unlock the Master of the Racetrack achievement in Horizon Chase Turbo - Definitive Guide
Do you want to make this achievement so easy you'll die of boredom before breaking a sweat?
Step 1: Finish World Tour and unlock the GENTLEMAN (you don't even need golds in all events).
Step 2: Use the GENTLEMAN in every tournament.
Step 3: Save all your boosts for your final lap.
Step 4: Use all your boosts during your final lap.
Step 5: Win every** race with ease (and eye-watering boredom).
The reason this works is because of the utterly broken rubber banding found in Master Tournaments. The GENTLEMAN has insane boost and incredible handling stats. It also begins every race with 4 boosts. Speed and acceleration are pretty underwhelming but this plays to our advantage:
With the GENTLEMAN's mediocre speed and acceleration, the lead AI won't ever get too far out of reach (rubber banding keeps it from driving too fast). During the majority of the race, use the GENTLEMAN's incredible handling to weave your way slowly through the pack. Around the beginning of the final lap, you'll find yourself around 5-10th. At this point, use your insane boosts - spreading them out to take advantage of as many straights as you can - to take 1st place with ease every time.
Some things to note:
- No matter how badly you think you are doing, DO NOT use any boosts until roughly the beginning of the final lap. You can start a little before or a little after depending on the size of the circuit but SAVE THAT BOOST.
- Any boosts found during the race and/or boosts from picking up all nitro coins are a bonus but not necessary to take 1st. Some races you can have 7 boosts saved making a win absolutely trivial.
- The GENTLEMAN's great handling means you can take ALMOST all corners without letting go of the accelerator or braking.
** N.B.: The second race in the Iceland tournament is a thin, short, 10 lap circuit and, therefore, a bit of clusterf***. Results may vary here, but 3rd/4th is perfectly doable and an overall tournament draw (so long as you finish first during the fourth race) will still net you gold.

Great tip! I did all other 11 Master tournaments with the Explorer, but I could not beat Japan for the life of me with it. Mainly because the last race of that tournament is the hardest in the game imo and I could not finish higher than 4th with the Explorer. Did it no problem first try with the Gentleman.

This achievement for me was the hardest in the game. The computer always seems to try and bump into you to slow you down, and you need close to perfect races to catch the first place car.
What I suggest is aiming for two first place finishes and two second place finishes. This will give you 78 points in the cup. It will also give your rival 78 points in the cup. The key is finishing first on race 4 will get you gold if you end in a tie.
So aim for any combination of a first place finish and two second place finishes in the first three races and make sure to win the fourth.
Good luck!

A trophy that was very annoying
Sixth Master difficulty tournament - Iceland
Route - Manege
Never managed to go higher than second place
Be sure to win the first, third and fourth stages of the tournament

I also spent a lot of attempts, and in order to save your time, I advise you to take a gentleman’s car, it has very good handling and nitro, after I took this car it passed the first time.

I completed it on a gentleman, but on other machines the game will make you suffer.

Regarding the tournament in Iceland and the Manege route, the devil is not so scary. Having read a lot, I actually thought about taking it last. I calmly drove Manege 3m and the rest of the routes 1m, fortunately they are easy. On the first try. And yes, the Gentleman rules!!!
