You don't need to win the event, just finish. So start a Quickrace and find a nice big area and drift in a circle.
Your drift score disappears after a certain amount (around 8000) so do, say 2 drifts of 5000.
There's a good chance you'll just get this is a normal Quickrace though. Just drift alot, lots of perfect jumps, if you stay in 3rd, 2nd you can draft the front player and shoot him to steal his points.
