As explained in the tutorial, you can perform lateral dashes at the cost of a bit of Boost by pressing 
to dash to the left and 
to dash to the right. Performing a good charged start, drifting efficiently and driving on the boost-filling parts of the track will give you more than enough Boost to dash 10 times in a single race.
