How to unlock the Faster than light achievement in HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED - Definitive Guide

I created a custom course to help earn this achievement while AFK. You might be able to earn this through normal gameplay but this will help to mop it up or boost it entirely. This track was built for use with an upgraded Bad to the Blade. Other cars will work but they may take longer for the achievement to pop.

Here's how to set it up:

  • Go to Quick Modes and then Time Attack
  • Select a fast car that has the circular boost bar. Bad to the Blade is the car I used to test this.
  • Press cn_Y to select Community Tracks and then cn_back to open the filter
  • Search for the name "60 Minute Boost", Tag 1 is "High Speed", Tag 2 is "Speedrun"
  • Press cn_X to add the track to your favorites so it is easier to find later. Select the track to start it.
  • When the game starts, pause and go to options. Change the boost button to be cn_LT
  • When the race starts, rubber band cn_LT and cn_RT.
  • Leave the game running until the achievement pops. You do not need to finish the race for it to count.
That's all there is to it. The achievement will be yours in 60 minutes.

I got to this achievement after doing a majority of the game, I think I did like 10 laps before I got it 🤣🤣 Thanks!

Thank you for this, I was worried this wasnt tracking properly for me as I didn't get the 30 min achievement at the end of the story mode. Loaded this up and it popped straight away. Left it AFK for the 60 min achievement.

Finished everything, even the 25.000 gears grind but didn't get this one yet. Should be close though. Probably 80-90% there...

Update: Still had to boost for 16min. So no, this may not come with natural progression in the game, even after you are done with every other achievement.

There is no reason to grind this. I just unlocked it before even finishing City Rumble. Im at 82% and still have to do the 100 wins, 100,000 coins and 25,000 gears. You are just going to spend more time on this game spending time going for this.

This is practically unmissable and you will probably earn it before you even complete the Hot Wheels City Rumble mode. It's very easy to rack up 30-60 seconds whilst boosting on specific tracks due to how the gameplay works. You will be drifting and building up boost extremely frequently without even trying most of the time. Just make sure to use your boost whenever you build it up and this will come in no time.
