To unlock this, from the main menu select Collection and as long as you've unlocked a car with the Rare rarity, you can get this. The rarity will be in the top left of your screen. Simply spend 500 gears on the upgrade and the achievement will unlock.

In this video guide I will show you how to upgrade the rarity of one rare vehicle. First you will need to earn some gears by doing the story mode. Or you delete duplicate cars you earn from blind boxes. Save up tp 500 gears then go to collection and upgrade a rare car to pop the achievement.
